Tryna think abt things I can do with my creative universe (basically ideas for protagonists and plot lines for different possible novels in this world) and I am 100% taking suggestions
Humans and Elves have developed a peaceful society. Majority of the population speak the same language: Latin. Elven Magic is used for minor purposes, Five Schools not yet developed.
Circa 280 FE
Humans begin to hate and fear Elven Magic. Their violent nature is revealed, causing the Elves to fear them. They begin to drift apart, society crashing.
Circa 350 FE
The Elves have distanced themselves from Humans. The Elves and Humans began to develop language separately, causing linguistics to diverge. The Humans, becoming rageful, invade Elven settlements and abduct them, using archaic methods to suppress their magic. The Elves hold their faith closely in these dark times.
Circa 500 FE
The Elves have been enslaved by Man. Legislation is passed that makes using Blue Magic punishable by death, as well as speaking in the Elven language (which continues to evolve). Most of Elven history is lost, but old practices of magic and the Elven faith are passed on through oral history. Elves are used for manual labor, servantry, and darker forms of servitude.
1037 FE
Sarah Faryngul, a common slave, begins the revolution by covertly learning Beau magic and inspiring others to do the same. Elves across nations fight back. The Purple War begins.
1042 FE
The Purple War reaches its climax. Sarah Faryngul-Elle is assassinated in an attempt to sway the tides of the war. Her wife, Iliana Elle, leads the Blue Army in her stead. The Elves learn to control their power under Iliana’s rule. Blue successes over Red increase.
1067 FE
Iliana Elle has built military camps in wild, sacred land impossible for humans to habitate. The borders of the land are secured with Elven magic and soldiers. War begins to slow.
1070 FE/0 SE
An Elven nation is founded, christened Ilian after their fearless leader (despite her efforts). She is made Blue Queen and matriarch of the royal family. Second Era begins.
12 SE
The first Blue Princess is born. She becomes a symbol of hope for the Blue people.
125 SE
The borders of Ilian are opened to Humans for the first time. Peacetime festivals and conferences convene all across Altmera.
140 SE
Diplomats from nations all over create a union between two worlds. Times are the best they’ve been since the War. Society is beautiful, but still mostly separated.
