✺: something my muse loves and never gets tired of
Here, take some sneak peeks for the next event. X)
Meet Baritone and Tenor. I’ll leave it up to y’all to figure out who’s the swap of whom. ;)
Tempo walks up to alto and pulls on his sleeve. "U-um..Uncle Alto..?" he sniffles, wiping his tears away with his sleeve. "W-wheres Poppa..? I-I cant hear him...I need his help."
“I-I... don’t know where he is. I have yet to see him for the last hour or so.”
His words are a little difficult to understand. He can no longer feel his tongue.

“... ah.”
Alto and Co are available for asks
Currently available below the cut:
Hey Alto, name a song that makes you over the moon when you hear it
“Hm...”
“Over the moon?”
“I could be quite cliche and say this does the trick!”
They’re back!
“Hm... it’s finally stabilized. That was much quicker this time.”
“Yes, but you did have help, did you not?”
“Ah... yes, and excellent point, Maestro.”
Polar Opposites
"... Cadence, that's my book."
Mezzo stood, tapping his foot in annoyance while his sister lay sprawled across the couch. Which subsequently meant she had stretched out across her twin's textbook.
"You may not care about getting your homework done, but I do," the brother said, trying not to scowl and failing miserably when Cadence did nothing more than huff back. Mezzo's scowl only deepened as he marched over and yanked the book out from underneath his twin, feeling rather smug when it caused her to tumble off of the couch.
"Damn it, Mezzo, what was that for," she yelled, popping up onto her feet and immediately going to retaliate. However, Mezzo's quickly popped out of sight, reappearing a few feet backwards.
"That was for you being a lazy bum who doesn't get off her rear and do anything productive," Mezzo replied, already opening his book and flipping through the pages. However, he didn't get a chance to read it before he was suddenly tackled to the floor. Unfortunately, being the weaker of the two, he ended up pinned to the wood floor, trying in vain to push his sister away.
"Hey-- Cadence, get o-- oof!"
When Mezzo tried to push her away again, he was simply met with a hand pressing the side of his face against the floor with great force.
"That's for knocking me off the couch," Cadence growled, though she didn't have the chance to do much more before there was a shout from the other end of the room.
"Just what do the two of you think you are doing," came the stern scolding as their father came marching across the room. Alto didn't hesitate to yank Cadence back, despite her protest, then used a bit of magic to abruptly pull Mezzo to his feet. "You were already fighting this morning, yet here we are again! What has gotten into you two?"
"Cadence started it," Mezzo quickly protested. "It's not my fault I just wanted to get my schoolwork done!"
"Not my fault you've got a stick up your a--"
Cadence's retort was cut off when her father suddenly gave her a yank.
"The both of you are at fault here," Alto said, glaring at the two of them. "You are both fifteen. Stop acting like children!"
The twins simply glared daggers at each other, prompting Alto to finally let out a sigh.
"Fine. I suppose we're not in the mood to get along today, are we," he said, crossing his arms over his chest. "However, Mezzo has a point. You need to get your schoolwork done. You're both confined to your room until after supper."
"What?!" Cadence looked at him in shock. "What, no! That's not fair!"
"Well, you could be grounded instead," came the reply, and Alto slowly raised a brow when she fell into a silent scowl. Rather than response, Cadence simply stomped her way to the hall, the angry exit soon punctuated by a door slam. Mezzo watched her go, then went to pick up his book from where it fell to the floor.
"... Sorry, dad," he grumbled, staring at the floor. "I shouldn't have antagonised her."
"No, you shouldn't have," Alto agreed sternly, though he couldn't help but relax just slightly when at least one of his children responded well to the discipline. "Just... Go get your work done. Hopefully she will cool down by suppertime. You know how she can be."
Mezzo just rolled his eyes, then shrugged. Soon, he, too, had left the room, leaving Alto all to himself, standing in the middle of the living room.
"What on Earth am I going to do with those two," he grumbled, then let out a sigh. It was going to be another long day.
Mermaid AU for Alto. Wanted to play around with textures in the background. I’m pretty proud of how it turned out!
As always, reblogs are lovely, dearies~
