I'm skeptical of true altruism, even though I am very kind I can't be altruistic, but I will say this: "blessed be all altruists."

by coincidence, I picked up a book again reading about #ἀμγδαλή . in our society, very often encounter #egoist persons or even cold blood psychopaths, also there are some people full of #empathy , happily to be #altruists . I thought that’s the influence from capitalisme or socialisme, but not really. it’s the #brain #amygdala receives impact from #economy status, #education level and #religion beliefs . for instance, the author had worked 3 years in a sports club, dealed with 20 evil-like colleagues and clients, in the end please mercy them: struggle for suivie, low educational background, no faith in anything deteriorated them. #neuroscience teaches us to understand this world. https://www.instagram.com/p/CJiy_5VB6LL/?igshid=2bqt3n6brau5

#61 - The Altruists by Nicky Silver

This is a play that I'm pulling a monologue from so I had to read the whole thing. It was actually really interesting, a little weird, but really interesting. The characters were unique and interesting, but being completely honest, none of them were particularly likable. I think that might have been the point, though.  Oh well, good story.
