Dorain: You've obviously spent too much time frolicking with spirits and have forgotten how to put together a decent ensemble. That horrible hat you wore at the Winter Palace? Vishante kaffas, I shudder just remebering it. (Quietly) Was it to hide the baldness? If so, I'm sure we could find a hairgrowth spell to help with that.

Solas: I shave my head, Dorian.

Dorian: Really?! You mean you choose to look like that on purpose?!

Solas: This conversation is finished.

Solas: ...Did the hat really look horrible?

❝ and i told you he’s going to get angry. he always does when i leave like this. ❞  abruptly, without a word, and sneaking off like he was some soporati thief . while he may have been a laetans ( technically ) , he didn’t under the social classes yet .  he barely understood what an altus was .  not to mention the fact he still had years to go before he was formally a citizen of the imperum .

yet, even with knowing he shouldn’t put his neck on the line to jeopardize anything ( richard was even going to make him his heir ), he still decided to run off at random times . he still decided to act like a child when quite obviously he was soon no longer going to be one .

1.  How did you get into Dragon Age?

i was super into character creator games for a hot minute, & when i was looking up some i found inquisition.

29. What are your feelings on the Chantry?

30. What are your feelings on the Circle?

i think they’re good in theory? a school for mages to safely learn magic? great. the execution though? horrible. just throw the whole templar order out.

33. Favorite DA character overall?

probably alistair or varric. i can’t chose between himbo & chest hair.

How did you get into Dragon Age? Have you finished all three games? Something you do in EVERY DA playthrough, no matter what? ( ifff you feel like answering all three xD )

1. My wife my life (@arallyingcry) would always talk about DA, so I knew of it but didn’t know anything about it or the characters. Then I got gifted DA:O Ultimate Edition for my birthday some years ago and the rest, as they say, is history~ 

 2. I have played all three! DA:O is by far my favourite. It has that near perfect mix of atmosphere, soundtrack, and story that made me fall in love with the series in the first place.

3. Even though I’m rping a(n ex-)templar I will always play mage, and side with mages by default. I’ll side with templars after the first playthrough just for seeing more story options but yeah. We’re very #promage in this house.

The mage had a way about him that made it look good. But...the Commander didn’t really know how to dance, he never took much time off for more...frivolous activities, and the last thing he needed was to make himself look a fool within the library. “I just happened to be be passing through on my way up to Leliana and heard you humming something, so I thought I’d come and see what all the fuss was about“ As amber eyes looked down towards the floor, he continued, quickly flicking his gaze back up towards Dorian, meeting his eye. “It was...actually quite good. Did you dance often in Tevinter?“

“solas! care for a glass?” the altus half chuckled as brandished the bottle of wine that he’d no doubt snagged from the cellars earlier in the evening. “it’s rather depressing, drinking alone.” and yet, that was something that dorian had apparently been doing; the minor levels of intoxication evident in the slight wobble in his step and the gestures that were just a little more flamboyant than usual. // some tipsy dori for u.

The halls of Skyhold are quiet enough that Solas can hear Dorian’s gait before his voice lands upon his ears. They twitch at the sound of his name slurred ever-so-slightly upon wine stained lips, attention divided sharply between the boisterous offer and the book of poetry laid in his lap. The last stanza dissipates like water beneath sunlight, and its meaning lost alongside it.

“I would not be opposed,” he answers. As he tries to recall when he last partook, the ruins of Haven loom in the forefront of his mind— had it been so long? Time moves at a strange pace, overlong and fleeting, often at once, and before then it had been longer still. What Dorian said is true: indulging alone brought only misery, and he had not intended to find company worth sharing a glass with. “If only to spare you from solitude.”
