My favorite Horizon rare pairs that I hope will inspire you.

Nil/Aluki. When we first meet Aluki she's so dissatisfied with hunting peaceful machines that she gets excited when they become aggressive and destroy her camp. She even states in the final battle that it was the best thing that ever happened to her. It wouldn't be that far of a stretch if she decided to start hunting humans in bandit camps. They can both finally have a partner who enjoy the thrill of fighting. Just imagine them on a gauntlet run together.

Regalla/Hekarro. Hekarro pleaded with Aloy not to kill Regalla. You can interpret that as him still loving her even though she grew to hate him. So much angst potential.

Regalla/Asara. Regalla was able to accept Asara as part of her rebels even though she was an Oseram because they both had the same goal of avenging the deaths of their loved ones. Plus it makes for an interesting tinkerer x warrior dynamic when fighting.

Vanasha/Talanah. They are both Carja women who were hurt by the red raids and are still trying to fix the damage it caused. Vanasha became a spy for Avad to rescue Itaman from the Shadow Carja and Talanah made the lodge more accepting by sponsoring thrushes from other tribes.

Yarra/Drakka. The struggle of being co-commanders with different ideologies has so much potential for character drama.

Petra/Varga. Hardass who loves weapons meets a cinnamon roll who loves weapons.

Delah/Morlund. He's an optimist who loves discovery and she is a realist who can benefit from a little more adventure in her life.

Varga/Boomer. They are both tinkerers who are passionate about their inventions.

Seyka/Beta. So Beta can have her own warrior girlfriend with a high ponytail.

Fashav/Amadis/Nil. Any variation of this ship really. They are all reformed Carja soldiers who fought during the Red Raids. It's possible that they already met before the events of Forbidden West

Nakoa/Ikrie. They both chose to become outcasts among their tribes.
