i have a question about alv. what's going with his eyes/does he have eyes? can he see?

OOoooohh I’m so glad/embarrassed you asked, because I love talking about Alv’s eyes, but also find it silly!

His eyes are technically empty sockets- eyes having been removed after death- and none being placed in before being risen. When he was risen he did lack the ability to see- which was solved by a necromancer’s spell, giving him the little lights in his eyes.

The lights are loosely bound to his eye sockets, but kinda just float on in there, and sometimes come outside of the socket, clipping through his cheek, or on to his eye brows. Shit like that. He can also see within his own eye sockets, as the lights are affixed like normal eyeballs, and he tries to avoid doing that cause it makes he him feel woozy and weird.

Should the lights in his eye actually go out- which has happened before in rp, caused by a blow to the head, then he would be blinded. The blind lasts until the lights return- which would just be after he’s had between an hour to a day worth of recovery!
