Unilateral Cleft Lip and Alveolus Deformity This little boy was born with a right-sided cleft lip and alveolus deformity. Feeling distraught, his parents brought him to our hospital for corrective surgery. He underwent cleft lip repair at 4 months of age. Reconstruction of the floor of the nasal cavity and nasal sill was performed through a C-flap. The orbicularis oris, subcutaneous tissues and skin were meticulously approximated using a three-layer closure performed under magnification of a surgical loupe.
