I colored the digital one! The digital wasn't looking quite right, and I think it was because of the hair amd the proportions. So I sketched her (a lot) and she finally looks right! Anyway I was bored so I felt like posting this :> Also, her eye sometimes goes back to normal. It normally gets "goopy" when she's really upset.

Her father places her hand into his and finally he can see her through the veil. Whatever feelings of animosity he’d felt toward her fade; she looks young and fierce, but he can see the sadness and fright he feels mirrored back in her eyes. He squeezes her hand and for the first time all day, he doesn’t feel alone.

Talking Body | -Alvery-

Avery chews on his lip, eyes glued to the back of Alice’s head as she marches behind her parents through the crowded streets of the Arts Distract. He had been following them for maybe an hour now… He knew they were going to be there, she had told him she was going to be gone all day, but it took him for fucking ever to actually find them.  He can’t believe they’ve actually had her grounded for this long now, she didn’t even do anything, sure she skipped a few classes, but it’s not like she even fucking needed those classes. She had him, she didn’t have to learn the useless shit those fuckwads taught her, she didn’t need religion, she didn’t need math, or science or literature. She had him. She only needed him. Avery shakes his head, dropping the cigarette in his hand as he rubs at the side of his nose, pushing passed the people in front of him to walk across the street, not caring anymore about waiting for her parents to get a little further ahead, he couldn’t fucking wait any longer.

Avery keeps his eyes on where Alice was walking, her lagging behind her parents just a little, who were talking with each other in front of her, luckily her siblings nowhere in sight, which meant that he could get her, he could totally fucking get her right now. He took quicker steps, spotting the alley just to the right of them and sped up even more as he threw his left arm around her waist, and his right hand moving to cover her mouth when she let out a scream as he dragged her into the alley, shushing her when she screamed and clawed at his hand, turning her and pushing her against the wall, “Babe! Baby girl, baby it’s me, Alice it’s just me!” He laughs wildly, his entire body pressed against hers, eyes on hers as she calms down some, him laughing again as he moves his hand to stroke her hair “I am so sorry baby, I didn’t mean to scare you!” He coos, humming and leaning down, gripping her neck as he kisses her hard, coaxing her mouth open with his own and deepening the kiss without a second thought, his hand on her side sliding up the back of her shirt, pulling her body closer to his.
