Today I got to meet @alwaysbeyondhope briefly while she was visiting the city I live in. We only had about an hour after I finished work and before she had to catch a train. But I had a great time and it feels like I made a new friend. It felt really relaxed and easy to talk, even though I was nervous beforehand. But for some reason, meeting and talking to online friends is often easier than talking to people I've known for a long time. Of course, I've only met two so far, but it's absolutely true in both cases. Internet friends are truly special and something I treasure.

I took her to my favourite café and luckily she loved it as much as I do. I also got to give her a n2n program from Uppsala Stadsteater.

“Tumblr.” It’s got (almost) every song I’ve posted on my blogs in the past five+ years (excepting the ones that aren’t available on Spotify), continually updated, and putting it on shuffle provides a good variety of my fave music. If we’re going for more carefully curated playlists, I’m really fond of this one I made a number of years back titled “how much art can you take?” It’s all songs about art and artists.

IDK? I guess I like to lean way back in a comfy chair. Cross-legged on the floor is good too.

Mid-70s, just warm enough that I can wear a sleeveless shirt without a hoodie or jacket, but not too hot.

20. preferred place to write (i.e., in a note book, on your laptop, sketchpad, post-it notes, etc.)?

I write in notebooks, on my computer, and on a typewriter, which I prefer really depends on the mood I’m in and what I’m writing. I tend to write first drafts in notebooks or on my typewriter, and further drafts go on the computer.

This is a super random ask, but I saw a post you made back in 2013 when you were translating the Swedish Chess performance and I was wondering if you ever finished it? And if so if you would be up for sharing? I’ve recently discovered Helen Sjoholm and I’ve been a Chess fan for a while and found the performance on YouTube but I don’t know any Swedish and I’d love it if there were subtitles. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
