DAY 154 POST-OP: Slowly but surely everything is coming together at work. What is even better is that I am feeling good! It’s seriously crazy how much has changed since my surgeries. I am so much more mobile, and wanting to try and do things I haven’t thought of doing in years! I have a completely new attitude about life, my own self-worth and a bucket list full of things that I never in a million years would have ever wanted to even entertain the idea of. * * * On a sidenote, it was picture day today which is always oh so fun... and I was given some beautiful flowers that fit perfectly in my huge mason jar I had in the room. Day 80 POST-OP: Never in a million years would I have EVER EVER EVER taken a picture with my legs showing in a tutu... but when @amazon delivers special stuff for special people, @donahueandrea a picture is a must. DAY 49 POST-OP: I love arrows & feathers. When I was vacuuming today I looked down and saw this (first picture). I immediately knew that it was picture worthy. DAY 19 POST-OP: Forgot to post last night, so here is this morning. 20-30 compression open toed leggings. The second picture is what they look like before you put them on 🤦🏻‍♀️ The struggle is real folks. I am in need of cute tops that I can wear that will cover my bum so I don’t have to put leggings or jeans on over the compression. It’s suppose to hit 90° today! But, I’m going to embrace the good and love the #silverlining because 6 months ago I would have never been able to even think about wearing such an outfit. A huge shout-out to one of my favorite Coronado Alumuni @gabbylashed Gabby has been a part of my life since she steped foot into high school. As a student-aide, Gabby not only gained the love from our students but much respect from myself and my co-workers because she understood inclusion, age appropriate interactions, etc. Gabby has also been in the loop since I was diagnosed with lipedema and she saw the emotion and physical struggle I was going though. Fast-forward to now. Gabby is in school to become a cosmetologist and graduates soon! She also became lash certified by @sassylashes to be able to do lashes once's she obtains her license. Gabby has been following my journey and when I ripped out my lashes while I was drugged up and I posted about it, she told me to contact her when I got home This lovely girl came over to my house because I'm not really suppose to be doing much, brought all her stuff and gave me some new lashes :) I love this girl!!!
