Listen I’m gonna sound like a dick for a second… but I came out of watching shadow and bone season 2 thinking it was so obvious what had been set up for season 3. Then I’m on shadow and bone tiktok for like 5 minutes and I see takes like:

Inej won’t be in the six of crows spin-off?

The writers of the show are obviously Nikolai x Alina shippers?

Alina is stealing all of Zoya’s storyline?

Honestly I feel like I’m being collectively gaslit by an entire fandom of people??? I’m not TRYING to sound condescending, but why do so many people seem to have zero media comprehension skills, and zero understanding of how tv works? Oh my goodness it’s exhausting

Ugh I’m going to go on a rant because I need to properly get everything off my chest

A thousand followers ago I was getting likes, reblog, and asks all day long and now I post something and it only gets some likes here and there but then starts to lose traction around 50 or 100. I work so so so hard on all of my blurb and especially my series.

I spend months planning things out so I’m a year I’ll have stuff that was teased in the series or this or that. I’m so tired of writing for weeks just to get 50 notes :(

I’ve spend the entire day yesterday writing the second part of vet Harry and I plan to spend the rest of today writing it. I want this to be long and full of fun stuff so people will actually leave feed back and reblog it.

I don’t know why I’m getting less notes now that I have so many more followers. It’s just so extremely disappointing. It’s making me not want to write anymore and that makes me super sad :(

I hope you guys understand and don’t think I’m just being dramatic. I’m just tired of writing this and that for literal days with no end just to get 50/100 notes when I know it deserves more :(

And to be honest I don’t think readers deserve to read so much hard work if they aren’t going to leave feedback and reblog. It’s the least you can do :(

Ya know. I think we should really stop comparing the severity of illnesses and disabilities with each other. I have POTS. I have luckily never passed out. That has been because I got really good at sitting back down or forcing myself through it. Just because I've never passed out doesn't mean that it isn't real. I get a head rush everytime I sit or stand. Humongous pressure squeezing my skull and pressing into my brain. I can't stand for more than a minute or 2 without getting lightheaded. I'm terrified that the next time I get up will be the time I pass out or collapse.

Most of the people within the disabled community are understanding and don't compare. We all have it rough and we whether it together. This is for the people that do compare us. That say "it's not that bad". Or "you're just complaining to complain". And my favorite, "just get over it". These comments are what make me doubt myself. Make me wonder if I'm actually disabled. I can't stand or walk but yet I'm wondering if I'm faking it.

So to this I say:

STOP COMPARING DISABILITIES.

It doesn't help anyone. It makes things worse. Just shut up and accept that the person with the disability knows more than you. They don't have to tell you a damn thing about their life. They don't have to 'prove' shit. Disabled people owe you nothing. Get your head out of your ass, shut up, and maybe listen to the person you claim to care about.

the fact I’m losing followers over reblogging a post saying amber heard should be held accountable for her abuse of johnny depp just shows some folks are hypocrites and refuse to believe women can be as capable of domestic abuse as men can.

female empowerment and feminism doesn’t mean silencing the other side. you’re only discouraging men to be open about their abuse and adding to the toxicity they already face for being victims.

good to know that tumblr only stands by abuse victims as long as they’re women. that’s totally not fucked up and anti-feminist at all.

((HI GUYS!!! I hope you’ve all been well! Sorry it’s been a while, as previously mentioned I’ve been busy working on portfolios for applications and stuff! And.... I’m finally done....!! :’DD for now anyways coughs pray for me to get through to the next round fahdjkfh I’ll be returning from hiatus in two weeks time! There are so many different ways of doing an ask blog to be honest, so I suppose a good way to start is by finding out how you’d like to run yours! I’m no expert, but I personally learnt by observing ask blogs I admired from various fandoms and went forward from there… So perhaps that’s something that you could do? ^^Find a style of how you’d like to answer, whether it’s by writing or drawing (or perhaps even both!), and it’s okay if you’re not entirely sure when you start out! Try experimenting with different approaches, or even different art styles, with colour or without colour, and see what suits you! If you find something you’d like to stick with, go for it! If not, keep on experimenting!But ultimately, what’s most important is for you to have fun! It’s your blog after all, and it’s important to always remember to keep doing answers that you’re happy with! There’s no one way to go about it, but as long as your enjoying yourself, surely that’ll be the best way for you! Good luck! ^^On the side here’s a little bonus for you below! ))
