I tire of jfashion "influencers" every single day of my life. Please wear your clothes, go outside, and pick up a hobby instead of farming engagement with your "hot takes" online.

thinking about these LJ icons tonight

It got a little cold this evening so I pulled my detachable sleeves out of my bag and my non EGL wearing friends thought it was the coolest thing ever

Once I went outside without glasses or contacts and I thought I saw a cat so I crouched and went "pspsps" only to realize a few seconds later that I was catcalling a trash bag and that people saw me doing this....

Whenever I see lolita or any j-fashion where I don't expect it my neurons activate like a pachinko parlor lights. Even if it's just a girl appearing for 3 seconds in the background of a video completely unrelated to fashion I *will* make it my mission to guess the brand she's wearing, what year it might be from,... and I can only describe the rush of dopamine I get from guessing it right as when you finally understand how to solve a physics or chemistry problem and it all clicks in your head.

When I was riding the bus earlier I saw a girl so gorgeous I couldn't stop stealing glances at her until she looked back at me (panic) and came closer to say she loved my little sunflower dress and that she thought I looked very cute but I was so flustered that I bit my tongue.

i love repeating outfits, replaying the same games, listening to some of the same songs i had on my mp3 since high school, using the same colors and patterns for everything,... i know what i like!!

my toxic trait is looking down on people who follow trends and will spend ridiculous amounts of money on items that aren't worth that much just because they're popular in whatever -core community they seek approval from.

i feel like seeking approval is a very human thing but getting yourself into debt or spending several hundreds on something used that is sometimes damaged is really silly and you will likely regret it later.
