I didn't want to publish this post, but I want to add to my previous post (about voting). If you get blown away, it's not my fault. Read at your own risk.
There are seven people in the BTS group. You simply cannot statistically give equal attention and support to everyone. I will give an example closer to me, but probably familiar to someone else.
Slipknot. 9 people. Who of them is usually the most popular? The trinity maknae Corey, Joey and Paul. Paul died a long time ago, Joey also recently left us. Only Corey remains. But in the group besides him, there are still 8 more people. But if you are not initiated into the lore of the group, you have no idea who is hiding behind these masks. But if you are at least a little close, then it is about this trinity that you most likely know more than about anyone else.
This does not mean that one of them is super-duper-mega talented, and someone just happened to be passing by and accidentally plucked the strings. And this popularity is influenced by a lot of things, from banal external attractiveness to activity in the media, who gives interviews, speaks and flashes in front of cameras the most. And jumping around those who fell out of this active popularity, and calling on all fans, let's support this member, is simply pointless.
If you really want your artist to have mass support, you need not to beg a fandom of nine seven mens for a favor, but to support the artist's work - listen to music, buy albums, merch, stream, buy airtime on the radio, etc., so that his recognition and fan base organically grows. It's great when there are awards. But when there is no active support for your work from your own fandom… ouch.
It's great that you know what kind of music Namjoon writes and you like it. But do you actively stream it? No. If you want to argue - go look at the statistics for the same clips 🙄 And what you are doing now is just strange. You remembered about the existence of Namjoon too late. But today you have a reason to improve in the near future, Namjoon is releasing a track soon. Stream it. Watch the video. Get other people around you hooked. Do at least something. And then you won't have a war like this, and who should we vote for this time? Because each member, I emphasize, each will have their own powerful fan base.
For the experience after reading my long post, go and listen to Namjoon's albums. Get to know him, give him streams...
