So what’s Black Widow up to in the b-story?
Well, she’s bored and she got a new costume.
That’s basically it!
Amazing Adventures #1:
In Amazing Adventures, Maximus has been exiled to a desert island along with his sidekicks: a tree, a centaur, and a flying man.
Anyway, he’s got a good point. You should never start your evil scheme while smelling bad.
Amazing Adventures #1:
So what’s Maximus’s plan? Well, he’s got an ICBM on his desert island. So he’s going to launch it at the Inhumans. He figures they’ll assume the humans attacked them and will launch into a war with the humans that they will lose (somehow?) and then everyone will be so mad at Black Bolt for being bad at war that they’ll make Maximus their king again, and then Maximus will be better at war and be able to defeat the humans and become King of the Earth.
Honestly I like this plan a lot, though it’s a tad unwieldy and leaves a few questions unanswered.
Amazing Adventures #1:
Just so you know, the adjective we should have been using on Inhumans books was never “Uncanny.” It should have been “Groovy.”

Love the Jack Kirby narration! Love the splash page!
Somewhat perplexed why the editor gets top billing!
