Our first “Green” superhero/comic video for the month of March:
THE IRON LANTERN!
An uneasy alliance (Amalgam verse)
They shouldn’t have told her that. That, they wouldn’t let her talk to the only person who could help her. Ever since the worlds had merged, it was hard enough manging all the new heroes and foes. But the fact that something from the other world, called a “tesseract”, was corrupting many super-powered beings was becoming too much to handle. They had been fighting enough before all this.
It had been suggested, by a volatile, self-obsessed narcissist that possibly, someone who had been closely connected to the tesseract could help. The universe needed help. It needed Loki. His own brother even sent her on her way.
But his jailers wouldn’t release him. In spite of the dangers her realm was facing, they claimed that Loki was too dangerous to be released to anyone's custody.
That wasn't going to work for Kara.
No matter what he'd done to deserve their punishment, she needed him to....save the world, as it were.
She solemnly accepted the Asgardian's refusal, but slipped into hiding til nightfall when she snuck over to Loki's cell. Getting into the area had been easy enough, but getting out with him in tow seemed significantly more daunting. He lay still on his bed, eyes closed. Kara doubted he was actually asleep, but even if he was, he wouldn't be for long. She gave one firm knock to the glass, and waited.
