✨ HAPPY STAR WARS DAY ✨
Have a Kanera
I LOVE THIS SHOW SM
So I started a rewatch of Supa Strikas and guess what, I STILL have a crush on Twisting Tiger.
If any of you knows me from the other fandom, then you also know that I express stuff through drawing them, so, have a Twisting Tiger on an oversized shirt.
I TRIED.
Trumpets blared without ceremony or melody. In an instant Hunter was at her side, gripping her arm tightly as the camp around them moved as one, soldiers grabbing their weapons and shields before moving towards the east.
“What’s happening?” Saachi asked. Her heart was beating so fast she feared it would fly right out of her chest.
Hunter looked down at her, unshaken and determined while his brothers began to assemble their own weaponry. “Serenno is approaching. We have to be ready to meet them.”.
Saachi nodded dazedly, her gaze stuck to the waves of men that marched past. Hunter gently took her chin in his hand, turning her to face him.
“I meant what I said; So long as you’re with me, you’ll be safe, I promise you that. You will never go back to them.”
Saachi nodded in his touch. He gently pressed a kiss to her forehead and she felt courage flooding her veins. He took only a moment to gather his things, handing Saachi her own sword, and hand-in-hand, they made their way towards the battlefield.
I commissioned the lovely @amalthiaph to draw this scene from Chapter Four of Secret Kingdoms, with Saachi as the reader. Amalthia was wonderful to work with, and an incredibly talented artist!
HAPPY NARNIA DAY!!
And Happy 75th Anniversary to The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe
Thank you, C. S. Lewis for making my childhood magical.
And also my life.
✨ HAPPY STAR WARS DAY!! ✨
I know I promised it'd be Anidala this year but I had this idea in the shower at 1 am some weeks ago. (scroll down for a sweet message)
Have a VelCinta.
Last year's Star Wars Day Post featuring Kanera was a hit, and it was my first art to reach the 1000 mark, so I will forever be grateful to everyone who supported me. There were lovely tags and some death threats LOL, but I'll take them all. I love you all so much 💖
Eventually, I will run out of SW ships to do this with.
✨ Redesigning Costumes in Narnia ✨ Part 2: Queen Susan's Coronation Parade Dress in Prince Caspian (2008)
So this is the one where I barely kept anything from the original; just the colors and some details. I honestly didn't like the original dress that much and wished it could be closer to what she wore during the farewell scene (which ate btw).
So I put my entire being into this single artwork.
I also liked the way I drew Susan's face here; I was frustrated at first bec I can't seem to get it right but I trusted the process (tho it doesn't know I'm putting my trust in it) and finally got this.
Other: Peter, Edmund, Lucy
✨ 'Cause I'm a punkrocker, yes, I am ✨
I haven't drawn anything in a long time so this is probably not perfect but hey I'm human lol 😉
This movie made a good effect on me, especially this part. I now stop and rethink my next action and ask myself, "Would Superman be proud of me if I do this?" If the answer is no, then I won't do it.
✨ Redesigning the Coronation Parade Outfits in Prince Caspian (2008) ✨ And here's all of them!
Ever since 2009 or 2010, the coronation parade outfits had bugged me with reasons I cannot identify. I've always thought that 'if I designed it, I would have it look like...' and so on. But now that I had evolved into a fan artist, I realized that I can now do that. Hence, this.
Here's the breakdown on how I came up with all the design. I want to again say that I have zero background in costume design, so I relied only on the internet for history.
Thank you so much to everyone who showed (and will show) appreciation to this little draw series of mine. Narnia has been a part of me for more than half of my lifetime and it's such a joy to be able to create art for it.
Also, happy 14th anniversary to The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader!
Note: I am so open to requests. Recently, I received one request for a redesign of Lucy's Dawn Treader costume. And while it wasn't part of the plan, I still decided to give it a try and it was quite fun throwing in some of my headcanons during the conceptualization process.
