The first thing you must realize about titz is that they have interacted like 2 times in canon but this leaves So much room for interpretation and creative liberties❤

(my favorite brand of titz is the one where fitz is Down bad and tam is somewhat disgruntled by his schemes but that is unrelated)

also tam is the most some guy ever forced into terrible situations while fitz was born A situation. dos this make sense. And theyre soo terrible at trusting people ❤

How do i explain this... theyre two people who grew up entirely different lives but the same style renowned families. fitz still has a lot of faith in the system whereas the system had failed tam long ago. fitz is trying to fix the system while tams saying the system is unfixable. fitz has never been allowed to discover his own person while tam is always part of someone else. their vibes r so antithetical to each other that it Works. tam won't cut corners for fitz and fitz needs that someone to break him out of his disreality. fitz also wont tear at tams harsh edges. they dont work together perfectly but they try to make it work and thats what matters.

That would be page 578!! isn't it wild that that's in a book. like entirely unnecessary to write, Shannon could've just written him sitting and Tam pulling it through the fabric. we didn't need that dialogue to explain it we would've seen that tam could pull it through fabric.

I'm sorry, I've tried. I see the appeal and what people like about him but the more I get into the critical analysis of Check Please the more I find him deeply uncompelling. He just does nothing for me.

And when I try to write him, no matter how neutral I try to be, I always feel like it comes off as mean-spirited, like how many more "oh lord"s and "my goodness"s can I fit in here?

So I just don't. Sorry to @atlasthemayor in particular, whom I brainstormed a Dex/Bitty fic with that was really funny in concept but that will never happen now </3

hi, I saw your post about katara and tunniit and I wanted to know more! Are there any specific tattoos Katara or Sokka would get that I could incorporate into fanart? As a kind of character study the meanings are intriguing

hey! i appreciate you asking, but at the moment im not really giving specific tattoo advice to anyone who isn’t a friend of mine. i havent opened any sensitivity readings yet, nor do i have any urgent plan to do so. its also been a whileee since i last watched ATLA so I dont think i could give quite the character study that Katara and Sokka truly deserve.

if you want to know one inuk’s interpretation of the siblings with tattoos, @/notdayle has incredible art with tattoos that they are very happy to receive fanart of! (though i believe they havent disclosed why they chose the tattoos, outside of a passing tiktok comment that sokka’s temple tattoos were for clarity of sight/the mind for hunting)
