Amahisa asks if Manaka got Raichi’s number after their match. Answer: he did not. Manaka wouldn’t even think of trying. WTF, Kosei?

Raichi doesnt even have a phone at this point in time; if you want to get a hold of him you gotta get Sanada/Akiba/Mishima’s numbers and hope Raichi is around one of them.

So Sanada gives Raichi one of his old phones. And he just says it’s old and used, so there’s no point to keeping it ( he doesn’t tell Raichi it involves a monthly service fee that he pays his mom back for with his allowance).

He wants to be able to talk to Raichi when he leaves. And he needs Raichi to stop asking for his phone to talk to Kosei!

So it’s win-win. Except now he can’t monitor how Kosei flirts with Raichi, but he needs to let Raichi grow and do his thing. And he’s read their texts and it’s AWFUL. Both Kosei and Raichi are insufferable about talking to the other and Sanada can’t take it anymore. Not to mention Amahisa writes fucking soliloquies as texts how does raichi even read all of it?!

Kosei’ flirting game is weak AF, to Sanada, but, like, it’s not like he’s dating Raichi either.

Sanada asks Raichi for Kosei’s number because he’s annoyed that an idiot like him is a pitching genius. Raichi would be ecstatic to give him the number! “Yay! My friends becoming friends!” And Raichi is so cute and naive it only goes on. “Hey, ‘Naada-senpai, want to come with me to hang out with Kosei?”

Sanada has to agree with that face asking. He doesn’t really want to see Kosei’s face, but Raichi wants them to all hang out. At least Raichi invited Eijun, unknowingly, who makes for a good Buffer Friend between the three of them.

And Eijun seems to like him And Eijun is kind of cute But not as cute as Raichi Even if Eijun looks at him in awe the same way And has pretty eyes And a little taller

Then Eijun starts talking to Amahisa with disdain. And Sanada noticed Eijun dislikes Amahisa almost as much as him.

And crap.

“The enemy of my enemy is my new crush”

Raichi is oblivious to the idea of someone liking him, but he asks if Sanada is dating Eijun before Sanada or Eijun thought about it. Raichi: let’s go on a double date!!! Sanada: No! Sanada just wants to place his hands on the side of Raichi’s face and scream.

“HOW?! HOW CAN YOU SEE IT IN MY EYES WHEN I LOOK AT HIM BUT NOT WHEN IT’S SO MUCH STRONGER WHEN I LOOK AT YOU?!”

Because he has a crush on Eijun, but why not let Raichi know how he feels for Raichi is closer to love
