          in a second she’s casually walking through the hospital’s hallway, completely focused in a medical scroll, & in the very next, she’s trapped between a very intense nara & the wall. the scroll forgotten & on the floor. her arms locked around his neck almost instantly, keeping him as close as possible while their lips smashed together in a hungry kiss. this was very irresponsible & unprofessional, to say the least, & soon they would have to part & go back to their normal lives & duties but ---- for now, she’d let herself enjoy the moment & the man holding her close.

“Yeah right. We’ll see about that later.” Shikamaru gratefully took the cigarette from his brother while they relaxed under the cloudy sky of the warm summer afternoon. It was hot- and the rain earlier that morning had only made the heat a little less than bearable, but he would rather lay there than work.

There was something relaxed about the smell of burning tabacco and the feeling of sticky sweat running down his back, close but not too much to his twin. 

“We should just sleep right here, not like anyone will come looking for us yeah?” Unless they counted Naruto, but he should be training.

Friday afternoon, and all the classes were getting out from the neighborhood high school. It was pretty convenient that Gran’s house was just a few blocks away, it made picking up the oldest sibling all the more easy. Today they had come by themself it seemed, patiently waiting out on the steps with their own backpack on, but as the minutes continued to pass with no sign of Kris the child’s growing frustration was starting to show. Where was Kris, Holly wanted to go home and get dinner-

Course just as they look away from the doors, someone comes up from behind and pulls them HIGH up into the air, making Holly yelp and kick a little in a playful struggle. They knew who this was after all, typical older sibs!

“ Hey! P-put me down, I’m not th-that short anymore! ” They say back at Kris, though their giggling showed that they weren’t actually that mad at him.

“ S- Sans!! ”

Shouts a tearful human who rushes up from behind him, their expression clearly frightened as they soft-tackle the monster skeleton’s back. Whatever they had fled from had made Holly begin to cry, from the hiccups and sniffles that could be heard from them. But… looking around, it wasn’t immediately clear just what they were running from, there were no monsters chasing after them, nothing that was outright scary, so what had spooked them so badly?

Thankfully, Holly is quick to try and answer that question. “ Th-there’s a scary ghost, it-it looked like Monster K-Kid but dead-!! ”

The small human shook as they recalled the strange specter, how its empty eyes had stared at them when they mistook it for their friend. The ‘ghost’ even had a voice that sounded like Monster Kid, only filled with glitches that broke into it’s tone and made it all the more disturbing. What was that thing???
