The lost youth dashes quickly through the thick forest as he was being chased by what looked to be demons which were hellbent to take the Shikon Jewel shard embedded in his back which would end him right there, as he tries his best to flee, a arrow flew straight out of nowhere as it made contact with the back of his right thigh. He cries out loudly in pure agony, now fully responding to the shock.

He dropped to the ground trying to clutch the wound to stop the blood flow from becoming worse as his body twitches in response to this onslaught from these demons, he grits his teeth as the nasty demons were now hulking their way towards his pathetic state.

Laugher rang out of their mouths and into the air as one of them lifts their weapon to strike, the boy fighting to stay alive as he currently lays helpless. His chained bone sickle was already knocked away from him, now the only way he could now fight was literally his fists and kicks but these demons had weapons of their own and ones that would easily slice him up.

It was a battle he could not win, he laid there, taking note of the effect of losing blood as his breathing starts to become shallow and eyes close.

Himself. He blamed himself for his parents and sibling dying (in reality it was a lot of circumstances that caused it, but he was the lynchpin), and had it reinforced while staying with his grandparents until his uncle took back custody. That time kind of defined him-- a problem and a failure who ruined lives. Every perceived failure he made after that, every time he disappointed someone or hurt them-- was just proof he'd always been this.

There's just a point where he started seeing fault in himself to such a degree he would blame himself for things even further out of his control, if he felt there was some connecting thread to himself. And the more he loads onto his shoulders as things to make up for and redeem himself for by trying harder, being better--- the harder it is to forgive himself because it's a never-ending cycle of taking blame and self hatred. Even when he does his best, any failure is his to take, and he almost looks for any failing he can to punish himself with.

In a way, he doesn't know who he is without it.
