I get nightmares on new moon 🌑 sometimes 🥺..
In Hinduism it is believed that on new moons Negative energies get more powerful
Does anyone else experience this?
Hello friends 👋
Ashada Amavasya is an auspicious day observed in the Hindu lunar calendar during the month of Ashada (June-July). It marks the no moon day (Amavasya) in the month of Ashada. This day holds significance in various regions across India and is considered important for performing rituals and prayers.
Ashada Amavasya is believed to be a powerful day for spiritual practices, particularly for seeking blessings and forgiveness. Many devotees perform rituals, prayers, and charitable acts to appease their ancestors and seek their blessings.
Devotees often visit holy rivers, temples, and sacred pilgrimage sites to perform rituals.
Overall, Ashada Amavasya is a day deeply rooted in spirituality and tradition, offering devotees an opportunity to connect with their ancestors, seek blessings, and embark on a path of spiritual growth and purification.
Also, in occasion of ashada amavasya, we would like to share a video ☺
New Moon in Purva Bhadra — Personal Inspiration and Transcendence of Survival
March 13, 2021
I’m outdoors, taking in the afternoon sunshine as I reflect on the energies felt now. New beginnings, spontaneity, inspiration, zeal — all stirred within a kind of abstractness. At least as it pertains to myself, and to what I perceive in those close to me, there is a strong sense of certainty, yet without a clear knowing or vision. It is as though a cosmic shuffling is underway — a parting, a release, and a call to rest.
The energies are felt as looser, more softening now. Saturn and Jupiter sit conjunct in Capricorn, while Mercury and Venus align with the Sun and Moon in Aquarius — the Sun moving into Pisces on the 14th. Where past attentiveness may have been strong in relation to our personal goals and sense of duty, integrating those priorities into our social awareness and communal responsibility, current energies invite a release and a fresh vision. There remains a subtle zing or sting, yet the same energies can also be deeply pleasant when there is inner flow and alignment. Both flow and alignment are essential.
Today’s new moon bridges the signs of Aquarius and Pisces, and takes place within the constellation of Purva Bhadra. Here, there is that past emphasis on our communal calling, but it simultaneously moves us away from that space and into the transcendental or metaphysical qualities of existence.
Purva Bhadra is the 25th constellation and spans from 20:00 degrees Pisces - 3:20 degrees Aquarius, bridging the two signs. This heavenly body is ruled by Jupiter and is referred to as “The Winged Horse”.
It is symbolized by a sword, double-faced man, and the front legs of a funeral cot. Aja Ekapad is the deity in rulership here which directly relates to Rudra, the god of storms.
We experience this energy as a lightning strike of inspiration — likened unto kundalini — that can awaken us to subtle realms of awareness.
As I’ve sat in meditation, particularly on the days prior to the new moon, the following thoughts and questions have come to mind:
• What inspires me?
• In what ways can I broaden my vision or expand my perception?
• How can I create solutions for myself that incorporate respect and awareness of others?
• What filters my perception at this time?
• Is there a need to improvise or change my understanding of success?
• Is there a need to place, or reset boundaries within myself and/or with others?
• How do I perceive or understand my spiritual nature and how does my life embody this?
These are all inquiries that aid themes that connect us to our world, but also move us towards focus on our spiritual reality and awareness.
Today’s moon energies highlight old themes that are now phasing out, placing great emphasis on the spiritual essence we are harnessing and the space this creates within us
New moon blessings of refreshment!

Whoever believes sun and moon to be the two most ancient lovers in the universe, have no doubt on the sacredness of this night - the no moon night. She has disappared from our sight. She has gone to her lover tonight.
