They found his body in a hammock, adorned by feathers, the last remaining member of his tribe.
There’s a man living alone in the Amazon rain forest who is the last survivor of his tribe. The rest of his people were killed by loggers in the 90′s. They call him the ‘Man in the Hole’, due to all the deep holes found in each of his previous dwellings. The Brazilian government have endeavoured to protect his existence, declaring the thousands of hectares around him as off-limits.
Observing teams have captured videos of him from afar, with the last video being from a few years ago shows him chopping wood, probably for shelter. He does not communicate with them, rather keeping to himself; but he does gesture if they are getting riskily close to his animal and defence traps. He is in his 50′s now.
I think about him all the time. I wonder about his thoughts and feelings. His name. His dead tribe. I think about the deep injustice, the loneliness, pain and sadness. And resignation. I pray that he is alive and well. I hope he knows that he is thought of, by people far away. I pray that he knows that we are sorry. Most of all, maybe selfishly, I hope he has some vestige of happiness. At least a peace. I pray for that the most.
Amazon Warehouse Tribe Fear For Their Lives!
Ingenious Amazon warehouse tribe, The Primoans, are fearful that they are being exposed to hazardous working conditions.
Chief Leader whose name means "Fast Shipping Overnight" says that the Bezos invaded their warehouse on false pretenses. "The Bezos promised us more warehouses for our tribe to live in, to hunt returned packages freely, and be safe from the outside world. He has lied to us! We demand a return policy!"
Mr Bezos is aware of the tribe's bloodthirsty demands and is willing to offer them Prime at a 20% discount and 3 months free of Amazon music.
At the time of this report, the tribe also demands PPE and next day shipping for the entire tribe or they will declare war against the Bezos.
Mr Bezos couldn't be bothered to comment.
