The Indian food was delicious, as was to be expected, but now that they were sitting down to talk, Danny could feel his stomach knotting up.  He didn’t like it-- it wasn’t a heart fluttering feeling but an apprehension.  Now that there’d been some time to think, he was doubted all of his decisions. 

“I guess... I guess now’s when we talk, huh?” He said, offering half a smile.  “Sorry, I’m not-- I’m not good at this.  Any of this.  Relationships and stuff.  I’m kind of... I’m not a great boyfriend.”

"Maybe there are no good guys." All she had to do was look at Bruce, at what he'd done for Gotham and how the people lived in fear of the Bat. How could anyone think of him as a good guy when all he did was terrorise? Not that she could say anything. Ra's had made certain she had the skills necessary to fulfil his own dreams. Diana, on the other hand, was someone people would look up to. It would be interesting to hear her own opinion. "I mean no one is truly good. Wouldn't you say?"

i was reading the novelization today and you know at the part where hippolyta agreed with antiope that diana should be trained. the book said “they were of one mind again.”

He really can’t call a goddess an idiot-- Diana is intelligent, and more than that, she’s wise. He knows that. He knows what she is, what she means. But Frank can only shake his head, bite down on calling her a fool. “No,” he says softly, voice raw. “No I won’t hurt you. But I will disappoint you.”
