Sailor Moon Trivia: CereCere & CandyCandy
The Amazones Quartet member "CereCere" bears a striking resemblance to Eliza from the famous 70s series "Candy Candy". They both share pink curls and a trademark yellow ribbon with red slanted eyes. Furthermore, they share very similar personalities and mannerism as high class young ladies who use their wealth and influence to bring misery onto whoever they do not like. Naoko Takeuchi is noted to be a fan of Candy Candy.
Some have likened the success of Sailor Moon to be the "Candy Candy" of its generation.
Speculation Time: If this was indeed an intentional on Naoko's part, it is possible that this explains CereCere's pink-dominant colour scheme rather than an orange or yellow dominant scheme like her assumed counterpart Sailor Venus, or else this could all be a complete coincidence.

This is too cute.
Clack Balls
Hahaha! Poor Pallas! (Quick, she's mad! Hide the dollies!) But I love this picture so much. It's about time I started uploading some more of these 50,000 Quartet pictures I have favorited on my DA.
I really like the idea of Ceres being a closet idol fan who reads romance novels and cries at chick flicks. Of course, she wouldn't admit this for the world, since she would see it as "childish" to get so attached to stars and fictional characters, which makes it all the more fun. (Just imagine, Juno finds a poster of the Three Lights in the back of her closet with hearts and "Yaten-sama" and other equally girly things scribbled all over it. So much blackmail potential. No more coercing her into makeovers!)
Yeah, this doesn't really have much to do with anything, I'm just sayin'.
