Page 6 of 12 of 2nd comic I'm translating, Gathering. More fun with onomatopoeia. (That word... Is it one of those words where the plural and the singular forms are the same?) The one that I translated as "halt" literally means to suddenly stop, which again, English really doesn't have a word for. I really just want to create a bunch of new onomatopoeia and introduce them to the English language. How does that sound? Anyway, in the last two bubbles where Lady is using words like "find out" and "check" it is actually the same word, which literally means confirm, but it sounded weird if I used confirm like that, so I settled on a slightly less direct translation.

Lady is just so cool in this and the next page that I had to translate them both at the same time. After I post this one, I'm going to be working on doing the typesetting for page 7, so unless my mom kicks me off the computer, it should be up pretty soon. :)

Page six of the first comic~ Oh man, those first few bubbles were so difficult to translate! I'm not sure I did a very good job of it. Again, last three bubbles are Ceres talking, which is pretty obvious in the Japanese (blah blah blah wa, gojibun blah, watakushi blah blah wa), but not so much in the English and unlike the other page, there wasn't a super easy fix this time. And look! The rest of the Quartet finally appears! Oh hi there, Juno, did you know you're my favorite?

Personalidad: Cere Cere es elegante, seria y centrada, es muy femenina y trata de actuar de manera más madura en comparación con el resto de las chicas de su edad, por esta razón, a menudo suele mostrar una actitud vanidosa y superior, a pesar de ello, a veces rompe con su pretendida madurez para jugar sólo por el hecho de divertirse. También suele perseguir a cualquier persona que considere capaz de acentuar su pretendida belleza. Es muy elegante aunque algo extravagante.

Otros: Su nombre deriva del de la diosa Ceres. Tiene la piel clara y el cabello de color rosado. Su cabello también está decorado con moños y una flor. Cere Cere posee una pelota o bola de billar de color amarillo. Le encantan las flores de todo tipo, sobre todo las que son de gran tamaño.
