Has anyone actually looked at Luke Newton for Bond?
Have people actually looked at Luke Newton outside of just “the guy from Bridgerton”? Because honestly, the more I watch him, the more I feel like he quietly has a lot of qualities studios look for in a long-term leading man.
Not just the obvious stuff like charm or looks either. It’s the screen presence. The restraint. The way he plays emotion without overdoing it. He made vulnerability feel masculine and confident at the same time, which is probably why so many people connected to Colin.
Also… from a pure casting/branding perspective, he already fits that cinematic luxury aesthetic perfectly.
And if the Bond team really is looking for someone with genuine sex appeal for a new era of Bond… respectfully, Luke Newton absolutely has that effortless magnetism on screen.
Idk. I just think he has way more range and franchise potential than people give him credit for right now.
