I have a question for your drunk Norse myth thing, what's the deal with the Norse gods and the Frost Giants. The Frost Giants seem pretty, pardon me, chill? Why are the Norse gods so mad? Like stealing their stuff and killing them when they've been invited into their home.

Damn, I don't know how to do this from a side blog. ANYWAY, coming from a black person who just read the CP series like, last week, it's pretty good. The racism in the book is more xenophobia-'Get out of my country, and also yours so I can rule that too' than actual 'you're brown die,' racism. I was really skeeved out by the slavery before reading, but tbh, its slave in the old roman-esque sense and the brown main character ends up abolishing it. the books actually more centered on sword fights

and political intrigue than all of the bondage kink advertising implies. The 'animal' thing was shouted by someone who was hunting down the main duo, and in the book it wasn't played off as a thing, but it is p sketch coming out of the mouths of a kinda white fandom. All in all I liked the books, solid pining, solid characterization, solid plot, solid humor, delicately handled rough subjects. It's pretty worth the read. Not that you actually asked me, sorry. I just thought idk brown perspective

For the star wars thing, you could do like, fashion show luke, or there's this fic where the storm troopers view Finn as the patron saint of the revolution, and whisper his name so like that'd be cool. 90s fashion Finn/Poe/Rey? I'm just throwing out ideas. Rey and her love of gardening? Genre switch to fantasy? I'm really sold on revolutionary Finn. Rey had to get some sand people tech put in her throat after an injury in that fic, so she was a lil Darth Rey?

in your heart, would the Gansey on Fire thing happen because he's found out about his fate and wants to live life to the fullest, or just because he's feeling suddenly sprightly and fancy-free and generally sexually frustrated? i mean we have cannon evidence of him working that kind of thing out through high speed night drives. I have no preference personally.

Is this about events of the fourth book? Because I think Gansey is Gansey-on-fireing because he found out about his fate and that 2/4 of his friends knew and kept the information from him and this is how Gansey is going to act out instead of hiding behind his mask of propriety

ok, ok so this is how it goes 

Calavera (the bony jerk) came to be last summer. it was a time where i was questioning my gender and sexuality very seriously. I wanted to explore the idea of a genuinely genderless character, that is also unable to participate in conventional sex. But Jason is not asexual tho, Calavera is very aware of it and has managed to find other ways to keep Jason happy (i imagine they’d had a talk to reach a consensual agreement *wink*)

Jason Murphy (the walking accident): at the same time i was going through a nasty depression, honestly i just wanted to revel on schadenfreude (i was really into Buster Keaton at the time. still am) so he is the embodiment of “harm-joy” (not very healthy but it helped me cope w/ stuff)

thanks for giving me an excuse to bring them back to life <3
