Ambicomflux: A sexual orientation descriptor for people whose level of comfort or discomfort toward sexual activity fluctuates over time, while their underlying sexual attraction and orientation remains consistent.
“Ambi-” reflects mixed feelings, “com” refers to comfort, and “flux” represents the changes in intensity.
marroon represents repulsion, white represents neutrality and balance, lavender represents comfort. the gradient represents the fluctuation between sex-repulsion and sex-positivity or the levels of comfort to sex.
e.g. someone who is pansexual remains pansexual and experiences sexual attraction, but their levels of comfort toward sex fluctuates. their attraction never fluctuates, rather their comfort to that attraction fluctuates.
