She couldn’t blame the nurses at work for always setting her up on dates; she was a young, beautiful doctor - their words - and she wasn’t getting any younger - also their words. Most of the time, their attempts at setting her up were with friends, but on the occasion that a handsome single father brought in his child, they were indomitable, and that’s when Tori had to typically put her foot down. She appreciated the gesture, really she did, but sometimes the men they set her up with just weren’t her type or made her introverted self incredibly uncomfortable, and because she was so introverted and shy, she couldn’t just straight up turn them down or anything... and that’s where her wonderful roommate came in.

She felt bad, always calling on them whenever her date was going horribly, but they had assured her that it was fine and she clung onto that lifeline - which brought her to her most recent disaster of a date, which left her standing out on the curb, sniffing as she tried her hardest not to cry while she clutched her phone in her hand after a brief text to her roommate to come pick her up.

          “You can do this, princess. I believe in you. I would follow you out there.” Silas reassured Renee.

          He placed a hand on her neck and brushed her cheek with his thumb. His gaze stayed for a few seconds into Renee’s eyes. He smiled and nodded to her. Silas looked out where the people were and swallowed that his Adam's apple visibly moved. 

         “I need to do something, princess. I’ll be back.” Silas needed to be in his suit. 

          Any moment after her name was called, his name would be called. He knew this day might change everything.

“come here you drunk.” he said before picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder. samuel was considerably drunk but not as drunk as she was. it was a blessing in disguise that they weren’t that far away from her place. he walked out of the party with her on his shoulder. they reached her place as he opened he front door, “home sweet home!” he was being louder than usual but the alcohol was running nicely through his blood. “you’re weak when it comes to booze, you know that right?” he let her down and placed her on her bed.

                 “ fucking fuck, FUCK                  ” he very desperately tries to hold himself up but everytime he thinks he’s got foothold, it literally slips from him the next and he hits the ground hard after several seconds of struggling to avoid his fall. a pained groan then escapes his lips a moment later. his side hurts - he’s landed on his arm unfortunately and if he’s not wrong ... he was sure he heard it crack. but suddenly someone’s come to help him! but he just has to pretend like this is killing him. “ god, i can see the light - ”

It was safe to say that Leia was in her element. Dressed in finery(that was purchased at a consignment shop) and bedecked with jewels(more costume than real), she was dazzling everyone at the gala. Or at least, she hoped she was. Were those looks from the older woman impressed surprise or judging disdain? She wished she’s had someone she knew here but she was only here as a favor to a friend. Still, despite being alone, there was something thrilling about playing at being a princess for one night. Her younger self would be overjoyed. While the band played some faster song, she waited at the bar, drinking slowly from her wine. Part of her wished desperately that someone would ask her to dance and part of her could see that only established couples were dancing. This was a charity gala, not a cotillion. Not that she really knew what a cotillion was.

His alarm had quickly awoken him, with bed hair and only dressed in boxers he made his way towards the bathroom. Zach was not a morning person and that was clearly shown as he stumbled across the room. With a quick movement he opened the door and stepped in and it didn’t take him long to see them standing there naked in the shower. “Oh shit!” Even though he should look away, he was kind of surprised of how good they looked.
