           IT COMES AND IT GOES,  this undescript feeling of a haze upon her actions,  a guilt sinking in her stomach,  something worse than butterflies   ( and trust her, butterflies are a special sort of horror ).  she's supposed to be this girl,  right ?  friend to everyone,  trusting no one.  it was easy,  black and white really,  during her high school days.  and it's easy to  blindly trust your family  during your youth,  betty knows this.  she knows it's a dog eat dog world,  everything pretty and kind is only fleeting,  and the only thing a girl can trust in her world is herself,  right ?  BUT SHE'S TIRED.  no one told betty how exhausting it would be alone in this world,  fighting evil on her lonesome,  and she's forgotten what it's like to be cared for.  blonde sort of shudders at the touch of the warm washcloth,  so  touch-starved,  that the feeling is unfamiliar.   " it's not mine, "   girl tells the older woman quietly,  avoiding eye contact.   " the blood, i mean. it isn't mine.
