Daniel being self-aware and owning his whoriness for once.
EXPLAIN. NOW.
Beyond Daniel being an insensitive ass and Louis reacting as he should...
How did Rashid know what was happening? The fact that he arrived at the right time to stop Louis (and the fact that he can) and he speaks for Louis as though he is reading his mind... Rashid, you ain't beating the vampire allegations, honey.
To everyone (fans who haven't read the books) thinking Rashid can't be a vampire/Armand because Louis drank from him... Vampires can drink each other's blood. And it's more than normal between companions/lovers.
The show hasn't established much on canon intimacy but drinking each other's blood is the only erotic pull vampires can feel (in Anne Rice's books). The show changed this a bit but it hasn't denied this point, so... yeah. Rashid CAN be a vampire and Louis would absolutely love to drink from him if that's the case.
Or if you're lingering more on the "he tastes like honey and pinneaple" line... Louis could be lying. As I'm pretty sure he's doing often in modern times.
Rashid is really out there getting sucked on like a lollipop while he talks of murder and mayhem to Daniel's face.
Living the fucking dream, Rashid *:・゚✧
Why are they doing this to us!?
Reminder that Armand's favorite contemporary hobby is owning houses everywhere and decorating them himself.
I know episode 5 has so much to unpack, but... are we ever going to talk about EVERYTHING that is happening in this scene?
From the fact that Rashid READ Claudia's diaries as though he had a right to do it(?) and knows there were 42 pages in her "kill list", to him telling Daniel this interview is Louis' SUICIDE NOTE, to him telling Daniel he would never let him drink from him, to... Goddamn it, it's just TOO much.
