Some crazy theories:
Someone brainwashed him in some ways to believe he did the murders and made it look like he was the true killer.
He has some kind of dissociative identity and one of them is the real killer.
He was drugged and dragged to the next murder to take the fall for the real killer because he saw them in the action.
He hallucinated something and found himself at the wrong time and wrong place.
Probably all of them are wrong, but it's fun to try guessing the truth.

Right, so. Things will be going down at the gala.
I'm getting the feeling a fight between Caleb and Trent will happen there, a confrontation between Caleb, Astrid, and Wulf. A confrontation that Caleb will get out of with the help with the others.
Getting into the gala shouldn't be too difficult for a few people. But for others (like Caleb and Nott), it's going to be a challenge. I can see them either getting caught or getting into trouble.
I'm trying to figure out how Yasha is going to get involved in all of this, and all I can think of is her crashing the gala and there being mass chaos.
I think a lot of people are going to die there.
The entire plot with Vess feels like things that will be tackled in s2. There's legitimately no time in this season to handle all... that. Especially since it seems like that will all be going down on an island, Aeor.
I have to say, I did really enjoy seeing the others cheer up each other. We do need a few more interactions with a few others to better establish their friendship, but considering they've known each other for maybe a week (just based on the battles and the threats of the war), they still have time.
My brained turned off halfway of me writing this, so I'm closing this prediction out here. And take a moment to eat something and come back to respond to some comments and reblogs. I'm def going to have to finish tomorrow, bc I know I won't be able to focus too long here.
