AMD Zen chip with Vega graphics console
AMD Ryzen SoC + integrated Vega GPU up to 24 CUs clocked at 1300 MHz in the Zhongshan Subor Z+ with no doubt is able to offer up to 3.99 TF of GPU Compute compared to the 3.65 TF power of the Intel ‘Kaby Lake-G’ Core i7-8809G. The Subor Z+. + 60 fps in 1080p Ultra settings in Battlefield 1 and Destiny 2.

Eurogamer/Digital Foundry managed to get their hands on this PC-console hybrid and managed to put it through its paces. Surprisingly, the Subor Z+ managed to pack more power than the Intel ‘Kaby Lake-G’ Core i7-8809G in terms of GPU compute. Speeds reaching only up to 3 GHz, the custom Ryzen SoC in the Subor Z+ managed to score just 115 points — below the 136 points Ryzen 3 2200G and certainly well below the 178 points scored by the Core i7-8809G. The Subor Z+ made it up with better multi-core performance with 586 points but was considerably behind the 800 points scored by the Ryzen 5 2400G and the 864 points put forth by the Core i7-8809G.

AMD CEO Lisa Su Says “We’re Very Committed To Gaming” And “We Are Nowhere Near Done”
AMD Ryzen 3 Chips Get Some Help From Vega Chips
AMD CEO Lisa Su talked about the future of AMD and why AMD is not everywhere now. So to speak the following is that she had to say about gaming being a focus of the AMD in future.
We’re very committed to gaming so that’s not going to change, but you will see us do some more purpose-built products for the compute side of things.
In an interview, AMD CEO Lisa Su also said AMD invested more in R&D in 2017 compared to 2016, even more, in 2018 as compared to the previous year. She also said that the goal is to achieve 20% growth year over year and while that is an ambitious goal, seeing how well the company is doing, that is achievable. Nvidia is dropping support for 32-bit operating systems and AMD CEO Lisa Su was asked to comment on the matter and if AMD was thinking to do something similar. She said this in regard:
It is a trade-off, you know, and we do look at the fact there’s a very large legacy base that you have to validate as you go forward, but we haven’t anything specific to say on that topic at this point.
AMD CEO Lisa Su was also asked about the 25x by 2020 goal, she was asked whether or not she was worried about this:
I believe that not every partner will go extreme on 25×20, but we will get a couple of partners to really take advantage of those capabilities. In some sense it is on us to show them what we are capable. The Raven Ridge/Ryzen Mobile design was sort of like the first step, but we are nowhere near done with everything that can be done, so you are going to see that power profile get better and better as new systems come out. So yes, I am very optimistic about the whole, like I said, I am simply amazed with some of the things that you can do, or we can do with in partnership with the OEMs.

AMD Crimson Software Update
AMD Crimson Software Update
AMD is leadership in graphics computing. The graphics hardware is as powerful as to compute the power. The graphic computing is used in Video and audio editing, Animation and Visual effects. but with the good hardware, AMD also want to focus on the software side. So they have announced the new version of Catalyst Software named as “Crimson” to control the GPU dependent applications.
