💢 - What frustrates your character more than anything? 

“Zealot loyalists. OMG they wouldn’t stop chanting and calling for the Emperor when I’m just trying to have dinner. BE QUIET you abominable pickle. If the God Emperor cared about you one bit, you wouldn’t be wailing helplessly in my soup in the first place.”

🍴 - What is the absolute worst meal your character has ever eaten? Were they verbal about it or did they just not say anything?

“Black Licorice.” Fuuko gags. “I would rather eat a Drukhari high on combat drugs or a Genestealer who hasn’t cleaned themselves in weeks. And I hate both of those. Ewwww.” “Yes I am very vocal about it. Though just because you cover yourself in it doesn’t mean I’m not going to devour you. I’ll probably douse you in milk first before I consume.”

💋 - Your character was just kissed by someone they can’t stand. Why and how did it happen?

“Sevatar and I had a very bad habit of betting. Things can get quite boring in warp transit you know. So him and I tend to do that tomfoolery. One time he dared me to flirt with Kellenkir because he knew I can’t stand the man. I’m sorry, he was creepier than what I’m used to!  Also he smelled like black licorice. Double ew. And because I had my pride, I did flirt with him and he ugh....he kissed me...barely...I just about vomited in my mouth but I won the bet. Sev was astounded. Kellenkir was....pissed to say the least. I didn’t stay for the aftermath and collected my winnings later.”

How long will they last? - I haven’t actually quite worked out when they get together but it would be sometime after the Earthquake. And well, Lebedev dies in 2052... but we can always live in the Happy AU where he survives...

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - Few things will ever be funnier to me than Kelso looking at Lebedev and going “I survived three, THREE assassination attempts today... I reserve the right to get horny for 60 seconds.” Now, as to properly falling in love, now that actually took some time since it’s not like they got to interact very consistently and both are busy people.

How was their first kiss? - I actually wrote that one ages ago... I should probably revisit it though.

Wedding:

Who proposed? - Lebedev

Who is the best man/men? - It is a terrible thing but we don’t actually have the names of that many members of the NSF/Juggernaut or know much about how they all might relate to each other. That said, there is a character in the original Deus Ex called Miguel who at first appears as a regular NSF footsoldier but when captured is taken to the MJ12 secret base and dialogue shows he has access to a lot of intel... so I like to headcanon that he is actually quite close to Lebedev.

Who is the braid’s maid(s)? - *Screams because Kelso’s only canonical friendship is to Saxon* I feel Kelso and Vega would actually get on pretty well, Janus just sent Vega to a whole other continent to keep the arson to a minimum.

Who did the most planning? - Lebedev

How fancy was the ceremony? - Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? -  Anyone even vaguely suspected of being involved with the Illuminati... Actually, the mental image of Debeers getting a card that says “You are banned from my super secret wedding.” is hilarious to me.

^’^ - The puppet would keep his stubby hands covered over his face when the man would place him in his opened palm. In his mind, he feared that he would close his hand into a fist... but thankfully, that didn’t seem to be the case. 

Still, he was almost completely balled up at that point, with his legs and arms covering most of his body. That was, until the one who held him began to speak to him. The yarn doll would gently drop his arms down, revealing his face. White orbs of yarn that was his eyes gazing back. It was hard to tell expression, of course.. but he did seem a bit confused.

Despite all that, he understood him, that much was clear.. and he made sure to show that with a set of small, yet frantic nods.

“Of course.”, her lips bent to form a tired smile. 

“To get the more humorous answer out of the way: I miss our residences in San Francisco,even if the weather and I were and never will be compatible.” absently shrugging she took another sip of tea and looking at the bottom of the mug as if the real answer could be found on it. There were no emotional weight behind her words, Thorndale sounded more like a student reading out loud.

“To be honest, I feel conflicted about it. On one hand, I am impressed by the sheer display of power we managed to make. We were at Heaven and were able to see it enfold right in front of us. I felt like a child again, experiencing my very first fireworks.

Now, we know for certain that we are able to shape the face of this planet forever, possibly changing it to our liking in a few years if we continue. In the past it was nothing but pure speculation, fantasies, endless simulations for possible outcomes. But that’s it, just simulations: Without any consequences or long term effects, some of them we might not be able to see for a long time. And then? Will we just keep changing, fixing, whatever might occur until we perceive satisfaction? Until we think we are done? Is there even a ‘done‘?

While I cannot deny that I am impressed, even thrilled by what we have done, I always keep going back to the image of the artist who is obsessed with creating the perfect image - he keeps changing and changing, never satisfied, and at some point he distorted and destroyed everything because he got lost in his vision.”

Chewing on her lower lip, her mismatched eyes looked right past by her visitor and friend - they stopped moving or even blinking, stuck like a broken clockwork. Seconds of silence followed, as if time had stopped as well.

“If we refuse to intervene, things will only continue to go down the spiral of madness. The immediate consequences might be severe, countless lives will be lost, but they are the sacrifice that has to be made in order for a brighter future. Sometimes, you have to become a little bit more rough to achieve something, because kindness has its limits. Civil approaches are useless against barbarism. Wouldn’t you agree, Walton?”

THEY clack lightly against her armor in slow rythmic fashion before forming a grip and slowly dragging her back against his form. An uneasy feeling pervaded her as the mysterious being onceagain appeared unannounced before her and rested a pair of massive bladed handsupon her. The pointed digits effortlessly piercing her suit and exo-plating andgrazing her “skin” as it tightened it’s grip and gradually forced herback it him.

 There it was again. That strange and domineering energy itso casually radiated from it’s immeasurably powerful form. The very same codethat had compromised her and led to her present situation. Naturally, she hadcome to harbor a degree of resentment towards the titan, but those sentimentswere greatly outweighed by deep existential shame. Despite her treasonousactions towards him, the Luminary had seen fit to grant her mercy.

15. Is there a certain person in this world that they cannot stand? The very mention of this person’s name makes them tremble with anger or fear.

“Criminals. Terrorists. Traitors to the Crown.”

A shrug. her shoulders are relaxed, but her hands are tightly clenched. A brief furrow of her brow as she thinks about someone - but it leaves just as quickly as it’s appeared.

“Haven’t had to deal with the last one since I left the SAS though.”

25. Is there something traumatic from your character’s past that greatly affects them even to this day?

She leans back in her chair. The ice cube in her whiskey clinks with the swirling of the glass, and a scoff breaks her lips before she can help it.

“Of course. The Incident is foremost in my mind. But, that affected everyone to an extent. So many people dead or missing, just like that.”

Her gaze falls into the whiskey, taking a swing then looking back up with a steady gaze and cold features.

“I’m sure plenty of others were forced to kill just as I was. I’m better equipped to handle it than most.”

33. Where does your muse go when they want to be alone?

Her chuckle is dry and scratches along up her throat, roughened by whiskey. She takes another sip.

“I live alone, don’t I?” Her eyebrow arches and her eyes shimmer seductive sparkle. “Though, I’m not adverse to changing that...” A lean forward, inviting.
