It's in the absence of company and conversation that she finds her thoughts drifting. Something that in her long years of life, she never imagined would be an experience of hers. She was working, after all. She didn't have time to be daydreaming. And yet.

Sterile white tiles. A small crowd of panicked, horrified faces staring at her. The ringing in her ears. The thud of another's body. White turning red. Alarms blaring, Someone screamed. She clenched her fist around the gun. The doors are slowly closing in front of her. No one dares to move. Even if they all were doomed because of her. Her goal-

[SPACECRAFT APPROACHING. IDENTIFICATION: ASTRAEA MARK 3, CLASSIFICATION "ASTRAEA". PROCESSING...] [AUTHORIZATION GRANTED. SHIP DOCKING...]

Musuki gives herself a shake, blinking a few times, grounding herself in reality- she really let herself go that time. Strange. Perhaps progress on her current project and its results would do her good, give her something to distract herself from too much idle time... and more hobbies, yes. Knitting was starting to become dull- maybe literature or sculpting.

First, she'll need to greet her guest.

The docking bay was simple enough, any manner of spacecraft could fit inside so long as it wasn't one of those behemoth transports or a warship. The ship in question was simple enough, but its owner was the target of her interest.

[LOADING BIOMETRIC DATA. DATA MATCH. PROFILE LOADED.]

... fascinating. Almost two decades since she'd seen this individual. "Patient 000000003. Blood type B positive, one hundred and eighty centimeters, ninety one kilograms, originally arrived to my station sixteen years ago for specialized treatment in genetic alteration for the longevity of life. Something that was, at the time, still in clinical trial, although proven effective in testing."

Musuki looks up from her tablet finally, towards the ship (and, hopefully, its pilot), offering a gentle smile.

"Miss Gates. Being late for check up is one thing, but that's quite a gap in time... what brings you here?"

"A shame our kids haven't made it home yet," says Zak'yanna's de-facto wife as she finishes wrapping a couple of Christmas presents: A rare rainbow meteorite for Skadi Sedna, and a metal model kit of Terra's largest spacecraft (complete with moving parts) for Sophia. "They really love the holiday season."

"I know you do, too, Zak'. So I got you this!" She unveils a mini-replica of the casino on Chor's Compass in which she and Zak'yanna first met, recreated to the best of her memory.

"Can you blame them? They finally got a taste of the many worlds they could see, and they haven't even paused for a moment. Last I heard out silly amnesiac had regained her memories fighting with 'Odin'."

"And our pilot idiot, crashed another ship and thought some dragon eating centipede. Let them live, as many lives as they can!" Though she says this with a smile, there's still worry all over her face for them.

A gift would serve as a great distraction.

"Oh!! O hhooooo!!! Look at that! You even made a lil model of our receptionist, oh the memories!" She bends down to see it, a beaming face.

Immediately she's latched onto Gates, hugging them whether they intended for this to happen or not!

"Now I feel like a stabilized slice of mass in a containment field that belongs to a neutron star, isn't good enough! I should go get more!" Don't worry it's gravity and dangers are moot...

Okay maybe it's a little too dangerous...

Earth

Waiting for Gates at the shuttle bay attached to the Assembly, the new Queen of the Kansaku Rea, and the Velutarian Sha’laha would converse between themselves about what’s to come.

Updating the Queen more so, as Gates had been told the plan. They were to go to the Sol System, the hidden system with masked planets, to see the real Earth in all its glory, or perhaps past glory.

There they would have to search for themselves, what to go, and what to find, as only those of Sol and of Earth would be allowed planet side.

Sha’laha turned her head to Gates once she was in sight and waved her down, “over here. Have you finished preparing?”

Wherever Emily might've been on this planet, it certainly wasn't near her ship. If she was, she would've easily been able to spot the tall, brightly-colored insectoid prowling around her spacecraft. At first it just lingered around like a curious critter, but soon enough, it made itself at home, easily forcing the door open with its overwhelming strength.

Hysteria was indulging her curiosity, that's all. It wasn't like she was doing something too egregious- digging through another's belongings was a concern for weird humans too obsessed with material belongings. There were more important things to be doing, like understanding the importance of holding onto items that served unessential purposes to continued sustenance and survival.

Like books. Devices. Toys. Whatever she could get her hands on without explicitly breaking everything.

But it was a little cramped for a large creature like her, so by the time the bounty hunter got back, she'd find the bug holding one of her personal effects carelessly. Studied beneath the billions of lenses, as if any other vantage point would help her understand the significance of such a thing...

“Claire? Lovely Claire, she was a hero you know?” Hearing the body drop, turning to see this blank faced woman. The odd girl sitting at table in hardly warm enough clothes could only smirk at her new guest. “Did you really have to do that?”

“You Sol people are so, brutish you know? Even when the galaxy is different, its like you only know one thing. Violence.”

“You should sit. Close the door, and try not to hurt any more men. Its so..off putting to a pretty face like yours.”

Ticking like a bomb, or a girl

Another Assembly, another gathering of so many faces and another appearance of the Senji Ambassador Prime524.

A human face, or at least what they’d call a ‘sol’ face, but the rest metal through and through. Anything that seemed like skin was fake, anything that seemed full of life was metal. But unlike the egotistical Directive Ambassador made of metal, Prime was almost a naive type when it came to speaking to people.

Standing, alone staring towards the screen with announcements, avoided by many as a larger and larger anti-robotic sentiment grew. Prime would be waiting for someone to approach her, no one specifically, just waiting as instructed.
