[MOD] Clean House & Ask to Clean House

This mod adds two new interactions to the floor, which will show up when there is trash, spoiled food, or dirty objects on the lot:

1. "Clean House / Lot" option allows sims to clean the entire house/lot.

It works similar to Neat sim's "Cleaning Frenzy" interaction. Sims will get a custom buff that increases their cleaning autonomy, letting them search for cleanable objects and focus on keeping the house clean for the next 3 sims hours without you having to manually click on each object.

I included more cleaning interactions in the mod, as well as excluding interactions that I thought were unnecessary, so that sim won't clean up unspoiled food, put away toys, etc.

Neat sims, Lazy sims, and regular sims will receive different buffs.

2. "Ask to Clean House / Lot" option allows you to pick one or more other sims to clean the house/lot.

The picked sim will accept or refuse based on a set of conditions such as mood, motive, traits, relationships, lifestyles, environmental conditions, and more.

This mod does not override any in-game resources, so it should not conflict with other mods as far as I know.

However, if you have any mod installed that disables the autonomy of specific cleaning interactions, sims may not perform those interactions when cleaning the house either. Other cleaning interactions that are not disabled will still be performed normally.

[MOD] Steady Sit & Seat Any Sim

This was a mod I created before for private use. Some friends said they urgently needed this, so I reconstructed it and here it is.

I've been bothered by how Sims would hastily get up from chairs as soon as I told them to sit. That's why I made this mod as an attempt to alleviate the issue and provide a relatively more "steady" sitting experience.

This mod adds the following new interaction options:

"Steady Sit" option for chairs (and pool edges). It allows Sims to sit down while restricting most of the common autonomous interactions that might prompt them to stand up. This will help Sims stay put in their seats longer instead of hastily standing up or frequently changing seats. They are still able to initiate interactions that they can do while sitting.

"Seat Sims Here" option for chairs (and pool edges), allowing you to select one or multiple Sims and have them sit on the clicked or nearby chairs. Each picked Sim will enter Steady Sit state.

"Seat All Diners" option to the floor in restaurants. This lets you instruct all diners to sit. Sims with claimed tables will return to their seats and continue their dining process, while unassigned sims will sit at random seats in non-dining areas. All diners (of that moment) who sit or are already sitting will enter Steady Sit state.

"Leave Seat" option for all Sims in the Steady Sitting state, allowing them to immediately end sitting and stand up. (You can also simply initiate any interaction from pie menu like "Go Here""Call Over".)

Theoretically, Sims will stay seated for up to 240 Sim minutes. But it's not overly forceful and Sims can still get up for various reasons, such as low motives, player direct interactions that require standing, or any higher-priority autonomous interactions that hasn't been restricted. Steady Sit state will end as soon as Sims' bottom leave the seat.

This mod was created based on my usual playstyle and environment and it helped my Sims remain seated for the longest possible time without problems. However it's not a one-size-fits-all solution (I do wish I knew one), and its effectiveness may vary depending on situations and other mods installed that introduce new autonomous actions. You may find it works well or not so well in your environment. Unfortunately I haven't tested it at special events like weddings as I've never played that part of game. Feedback is appreciated if you'd like to give it a try.

[MOD] Brush Teeth From Toothbrush Holders

This tiny mod adds a "Brush Teeth" interaction for decor toothbrush holders, allowing you to start brushing teeth by clicking on the holders.

Instead of conjuring up a toothbrush out of thin air in front of the sink, sims will approach the selected toothbrush holder to grab a toothbrush and then walk to the nearest sink to brush their teeth.

Note: An available sink is required on the lot for the option to show up and for sims to be able to start brushing teeth.

Supports EA toothbrush holder items and some CC items. Please see the download page to check the supported item lists.

This mod does not override any in-game resources, so it should not conflict with other mods as far as I know.

It does not override the original EA Brush Teeth interaction, so it will not affect mods by other creaters that modify this interaction, and sims should be able to get buffs or effects that brought by other mods properly. However, some of the modifications to the original Brush Teeth interaction may cause this mod to not work. Let me know if you encounter any issues.

[MOD] Ask to Read Book

This mod adds the following new interaction options that allow you to ask other sims to read books:

"Ask to read" option for books, vampire tomes, and magic tomes, allowing you to pick a sim and ask them to read the selected book. This interaction can be initiated from books placed in world, in object inventory (e.g. bookshelves, storage chests), and in sim inventory. When initiated from world or object inventory, the picked sim will be called over to pick up the book to read; when initiated from sim inventory, the active sim will go over and hand the book to the picked sim.

"Ask to read something" option for bookshelves, allowing you to pick a sim and ask them to read a random book from the bookshelf.

("Read book" here refers to the sim reading book alone, NOT "reading book for sim" as in the toddler/child interactions .)

With this mod, you can have other sims learn specific skills by reading skill books, or give other sims a book written by your writer sims themselves to read, and so on.

Sims will refuse to read when they are uncomfortable, or when there are no books on the bookshelf that are suitable for them to read.

[MOD] Ask to Take Shower/Bath

This is a small mod suggested by a follower.

This mod adds a "Ask to Take Shower/Bath" option to showers and bathtubs, allowing you to pick a sim and ask them to take shower/bath at the selected shower or tub. The picked sim will randomly choose their shower/bathing style, such as taking a steamy shower, a brisk shower, a bubble bath.

[MOD] Ask to Clean and more

I was tired of seeing sims throwing trash everywhere, cleaning up for them wasn't what my sim was supposed to do, so I made this mod to let other sims clean up their own trash.

This mod adds new interaction options to the following objects, allowing you to pick a sim and ask (force) them to do cleaning work.

"Ask to clean up / Ask to throw away" option for spoiled food and drinks, empty and dirty dishes, trash, trash cans, pet poops, hair piles, messes, cooking phase objects like cutting board, mixing bowl, frying pan, and such.

"Ask to empty" option for coffee makers, tea makers, kava bowls, and pet bowls.

"Ask to mop" option for puddles.

"Ask to clean" option for the following objects that can get dirty: - Dining table, counter, sink, stove, toilet, bathtub, shower - Coffee maker, tea maker, popcorn popper, icecream machine, microwave - Bar, espresso bar, barbecue grills, espresso machine, espresso grinder - Juice fizzer, cupcake machine, recycler - Pet cage, litterbox, animal shed, chicken coop - Toddler potty chair, toddler high chair - Massage table - Hot spring

[MOD] Ask to Brush Teeth

This is a suggested mod.

This mod adds a new interaction which allows you to pick a sim and ask them to brush teeth. It contains the main mod and an add-on:

1. AskToBrushTeeth (main mod):

Adds "Ask to Brush Teeth" option for sinks, allowing you ask a sim to brush teeth at the selected sink.

2. bonus_AddOn (optional):

Adds a "Ask to Brush Teeth" option for decor toothbrush holders. (Supports EA items and some CC items. Please see the download page to check the supported item list.)
