You ever think how settled ian and mickey are!!!! Weekly dates, nightly cuddles, morning routines. they’re so domesticated, it’s simple, it’s them and they would do it all again to end up where they are now. And typing this out omg they prob fell for eachother all over again after they settled in their first year of marriage. Like they just started dating.
i think about it all the time!! married life suits them so well, those two were meant to be dumb and soft and settled together forever. and there's something so magical about that first year of marriage! it's such a beautiful thing to have one of those moments of realization and you look at your person and you're like 😯 oh yeah that's my spouse! my guy! forever! we're in love! legally bound! the government is involved! and when those moments hit ian and mickey it's like a freight train. like, look at them now! they went through so much to get to have this and that makes it that much better! they won! and now they get to be all "mornin mr milkovich" and "morning mr gallagher" and heart eyes and soft touches and silliness and date nights and grocery trips and picking up treats for each other when they're out and leaving notes for each other and bickering over what movie to watch and fucking nasty and making love and teasing each other and dancing in the kitchen while making dinner all the time forever and ever amen
