Guess's on How Sasappis died.

Sasappis is the last ghost for us to learn his death. Sass is very private (undead) person, and we have been given no real/clear hints to his death. His ghost power (To enter into the dreams of the livings) could easily correlate to him being a story teller, and not necisarly "He died in his sleep, after catching a sever fever, that also caused him to have very strange dreams. Note I do not believe that Sass died of a fever. They would have incorporated some sign of it into his character. He would be more tired, feel more cold, possibly have a "unexplainable sweating problem". He also does not have any vibsiable gaping wounds, like Pete, Flower, or Stephanie, so that rules out death by attacker. So the question is how did Sass die

Now he could have died of some kind of sickness, but I do not think it is very likely. For one thing he is implied to have had a sudden death, just days before an important tribal ceremony he was planning/supposed to take part in. Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't most sickness take a period of weeks, months, years to do him in. A second thing again he isn't really sickly in the the show. All the cholera ghosts are flushed and still hacking. Issac will sneeze and mention stomach pains. But Sass seems fine, so if he has any kind of sickness then he has been masking it for 500 years. That is really sad.

He also could have could died if he went walk in the woods one night and fell from a cliff or out of a tree... but if that happened well that is kinda anti-climactic for how long we had to wait. I would rate that on the same scale as Thorfinn dying because he went walking with his helmet, through a storm and was struck by lightening. It is just a case of him not being as careful as he should have been. Not nearly an impressive follow up to Alberta or Hetty's more recently revealed deaths.... But you could make it more sad. Sass and his crush Shiki are implied to have died in the same year. Sass says that when they were alive, he was ghosted by Shiki after gifting a freshly killed deer to her family, as a jester of love. What if that was because Shiki actually went missing (i.e. died) shortly after, and Sass went out to search for her?

Another death I have considered was a food related one. A detail of Sass's character is is the most in love with food smells (the closest they can come to eating) of all the ghosts. He hangs out in the kitchen whenever Jay is cooking, consistently begs Sam and Jay to cook more of his favorite smelling food: pepperoni pizza, and I am honestly half expecting him to move into the barn once Jay's restaurant opens... What if Sass's love of food is actually a hint at his death? Maybe he had an allergy and accidentally ate something he was not supposed to? Or, maybe he had diabetes or some other dietary need, a crop or the meat from a particular animal, and Sass died when it was wiped out or disappeared. With so many people in the U.S. having dietary issues, and the countries known love of food, I could see the show choosing to write an episode on dietary importance, and the need for people from all walks of life to have access to healthy food.

My finale theory is one I have actually gotten off Tumblr, from the people who are fans of both the CBS and BBC series. Some people are suggesting Sass got bit by a poison snake or something and died from the poison venom. The puncture marks are small enough for Sass to be able to conceal with his clothing. Apparently something of the similar nature happened to BBC's Kitty? And I actually know a really good way to blend that into Sass's personality and a possible reason for why he became a ghost. Sass as mentioned loves stories and is a gifted story teller. But also as mentioned he is very private person who gets nervous about speaking in front of crowds. A week before the tribes festival Sass's father gave him an eagle's feather, which was believed to help bring confidence and courage. But what if Sass was still nervous/afraid afterwards. What as the days got closer got more more nervous/afraid, until he decided to do something reckless and stupid, to prove to himself that he could be brave. Something like walking through a more dangerous (poison animal infested) part of valley, telling himself "If I can brave this I will have no reason to be afraid of anything anymore". While that would not be the most exciting death, it would be very tragic, and it could set up "Overcoming the fears he had as a living", all of them, as Sass's unfinished business. Essentially, he would need to become a more rounded and confident person. Note that seems to also be Pete's unfinished business. Sass and Pete are roommates, and we have had at least a few really nice episodes exploring their relationship. It would be really cool if that continued to him and Pete having to teach themselves the same thing, but in different ways.

BBC Ghosts: This is the Captain. As a former commanding officer in WWII, he has a need for control humorously juxtaposed with the inherent impotence of being a ghost. His buttoned-up nature also serves as a metaphor for his repressed feelings as a gay man, masking a sensitivity that comes through in his gentle kindness toward others.

American version of Ghosts: Remember Tobias Fünke from Arrested Development? Imagine if he was constantly shitting himself.

Hello Six Idiots fandom!

Just a friendly reminder that even if you think the CBS Ghosts looks bad, the Idiots themselves seem pretty excited about this. I’ve seen a lot of people saying things like “not to be negative but ew”, and I understand that you feel this way, but let’s please try to not be too mad until we’ve actually seen it. We can’t judge something before we’ve seen it, even with the trailer. It would be pretty impossible to one-up the original, but let’s try to keep our minds open. You never know, it might turn out to be good.

So as I haven’t seen anything good about this, I’m going to put a little positivity out there!

First of all, Trevor is the best name for the Julie equivalent, I’m sorry but it’s true. He already looks like a Trevor in the original. Second, falling down the stairs? Even stupider and better then getting pushed out of a window. Also, the Humphrey equivalent seems to be a Greasy Boy™️, which I love because Grease is a bop of a film, and that aesthetic is great. The house looks really posh too, and just wow. The set design looks great! I’m already pretty in love with Pat’s equivalent, and it seems like him and Trevor are going to have a really funny relationship.

That’s all, but I’m thinking of doing a through overview and talk about my thoughts in more detail! For now, try to stay positive, and don’t get into angry arguments, this fandom is one of the only ones left that’s still good lol.

I want to talk about That Trailer as an actual American who is absolutely ENAMORED with BBC Ghosts and sort of got into this fandom because of Rose McIver (a long story, but those that have known me for a long time understand this), and has been voraciously consuming anything Six Idiots for the past two months since watching Ghosts. I’m not a fan of the trailer. I’m really not. It’s a little rough and over-exposition-y, and I think everyone is a little too OTT with their acting, but I’m willing to watch past the pilot and see if it gets over its growing pains. I follow Danielle on instagram and Tiktok, and she’s just great. I’ve been following Rose since 2015. Considering MOST of these people are not extremely well known, I’m hoping they’re going for a cast that’s compatible and can forge the sort of rapport The Six have.   I’ve seen a lot of weird comments like, “Why aren’t there cowboys/California Gold Rush? Why are there Vikings? Why isn’t the Julian guy a politician? Hey, is anyone thinking of Hamilton with that Hamilton-looking guy?”  1. The US is EXTREMELY. BIG. Cowboys and California are very, very far away from New York, which is where they’ve setting the house. New York and California are 3,000 miles away from each other. It takes multiple days to drive to California from the east coast, and that’s WITH the interstate system. You didn’t just bounce around between California or Oklahoma and New York like that. 2. Vikings came and discovered the US around 1000. They didn’t stay, but they did poke around a little bit. It’s very possible that a Viking dude could have died in New York. It’s a little far south for the Vikings, but it’s close enough to make it work for Plot Reasons. New York is a big state.  3. A finance-y, dot-com Wolf of Wall Street bro just makes a lot more sense in an American adaptation. I know Bill Clinton’s scandal was in the 90s, but American politicians were very, very good at hiding their vices back then. We’re just now discovering the things they did 25-30 years later. American tabloids weren’t nearly as mean or vicious as British tabloids at the time, either. 4. That “Hamilton” outfit is a copy of one of George Washington’s uniforms. A Revolutionary War militia man would probably NOT be wearing a uniform (It’s a Thing), but putting Isaac in a costume like this shows, “Oh, hey, he definitely fought in the Revolutionary War,” and fully identifies him as The Military Guy.  Also, the Bill of Rights is the reason why Isaac HAS to be from the Revolution. We literally have a law about soldiers occupying houses.  I’m assuming that since they’re putting Woodstone Estate in New York, it’s probably supposed to be somewhere in the mid-Hudson Valley, which makes it about an hour and a half by train to NYC. It makes a lot of sense to put the ghosts there. My parents raised me mainly on British sitcoms, so the vast majority of what makes me laugh is NOT American sitcom-y stuff. I’m going in with an open mind, and I may end up liking it! We shall SEE.

Dear CBS:

I heard you guys were thinking about doing an American version of the BBC Comedy Ghosts. As a both an American and a fan of Ghosts, I have a few thoughts. While most of the fans think that it’s a bloody horrible idea, I see potential in it. While through HBO Max and other websites, Americans can view Ghosts, having a right side of the road version of Ghosts can introduce us former colonists to the wonders that is Ghosts, IF DONE RIGHT.

Let’s look at the Office. BBC’s the Office was a good show and all but the NBC American version took the Office to a whole new level. While I want American Ghosts to be successful, I don’t want it to overpower it’s British Counterpart like what the Office did. I just want it to be good that the American viewers can become interested to the superior British version.

Okay so Ghosts concepts, DON’T DO THE SAME TIME PERIODS AS THE BRITS! Instead of like a WWII soilder and an early 19th century poet, do like a Native American, revolutionary war soilder or Civil War soilder, Gilded Age Millonare or second wave immigrant, an early news reporter, some businessman from 1929, a late 1960s hippie or some teen from like 2004.

For actors, I know it’s unlikely to get the Original Cast in this so I found some good American counterparts. Ben Schwartz, he’s just amazing and underrated (see Jean Ralphio in Parks and Rec). Kate McKinnon, she can play anybody (literally). And John Mulaney, he is perfect for this role, (I’m thinking early 20th century journalist) and he could be a head writer for this show. Another writer and maybe actor for this show could be...

ME!!! While I just finished High School, I took a year of theatre and Creative Writing 2, so I’m qualified. I’ve also posted some great BBC GHOSTS content which has been liked and reblogged by many Ghosts fans. These are some of my favorites, this one, this beauty, a crossover post but the main reason.

So yeah CBS please message me so we can discuss ideas

Spook Of The Day #187 • So JFK’s limousine - yes, the one he died in - is haunted.

JFK’s death was one of those moments in history that we use as markers for eras, echelons, and times of change. Yet despite the infamous curse associated with the Kennedy family (that is, most of the Kennedy family have died in tragic accidents) it’s the car JFK was killed in that is cause of concern here.

It was used for 20 years after his death by the service, and can still be seen in the Henry Ford Museum in Michigan to this day. But what’s peculiar isn’t simply that odd feeling we get now and then as if something is there with us...

It’s the apparition of the man in the grey suit next to the car which is often reported which is interesting. He is most clearly seen in late November, on the anniversary of JFK’s death.
