United!
While most of America was counting the votes, the whole of India was counting notes and that too ones that were scrapped. Modi played a masterstroke and trended more that the soon to be “most powerful man in the world”.
America is strange. Americans even stranger. The stories that one is hearing is most Americans are upset, Canadian immigration site crashed after Trump was declared the new president, protest marches etc… what I fail to understand is guys you were the ones that voted for your President, so why the anger and disappointment??
On the contrary Indians are calmer on having been hit by the end of black money era. So what’s with these Americans?
Let me give you 5 reasons why people are shocked with Trump’s victory –
Reason 1 – Media and its completely wrong Analysis.
Media analysis was far removed from reality. Negative publicity worked for Trump and actually made him popular. His jokes, statements and media poking fun made him the under dog which worked in his favor.
Reason 2 – Wrong data analysis
Data on voters and predictions by analyst was done by Hillary and Trump both. But ultimately the lady with the experience could not analyze it as well as a smart billionaire did. His targeted visits and speeches to what people wanted to hear and talking of sentiments and issues that concerned the common man made him the winner. More that that his total spends on the campaign is half of Hillary’s which shows smart and targeted planning. He is not just clever but also a good strategist hence today he is the man with the nuclear codes.
Reason 3 – Over confidence
This one is always the major one for any downfall. Approximately 46.9% of the Americans did not vote and this included most democrats. Need one say more?
Reason 4 – Trump is grey
We all have shades of Grey. Trump evoked that in people even more. Many wives, bold remarks, sexiest statements and aspirational lifestyle actually made him more desirable and worked for him. It made him more real.
Reason 5 – America is still conservative and orthodox
Americans can keep claiming to be forward thinking and progressive; reality is they are as backward and sexist in their approach as our daily soaps. They cannot accept a woman president. Sad but true… Hillary had the support of two Presidents – Obama and Bill Clinton advising her and she till lost the race. While Trump with his larger than life image has walked away with the booty.
In the end Trump blowed his own trumpet and that worked for him. Plus the slogan which are own Modiji gave will now be used by every leader who runs to win…”ab ke baar Trump sarkar”
Donald is not just a duck and the Trumpets are blowing. While most of America was counting the votes, the whole of India was counting notes and that too ones that were scrapped.
Americans throw away 133 billion pounds of food every year, or 31 percent of the total amount of available food. That’s over 4,200 pounds of food a second.
"A new report out of the USDA says that Americans throw away 133 billion pounds of food every year, or 31 percent of the total amount of available food. That’s over 4,200 pounds of food a second.
At the same time, the biotech industry says that we need genetically engineered crops to feed the world.
Need?
They must have not seen the most recent report out of the USDA that says that in the United States, 31 percent—or 133 billion pounds—of the 430 billion pounds of the available food supply at the retail and consumer levels went uneaten.
That is enough to almost feed the population of Texas..."

A law that was supposed to take effect this month barring the adoption of Russian children by Americans has been granted what some are calling a “miraculous” reprieve. The law signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin was set to take effect January 1, leaving in limbo orphans who were in the process of being adopted by American families. In fact, it had already been enacted, so the sudden reversal based on this agreement is a mystery, but a welcome one....
