ok overview of my oc kpop group under the cut (long)

^thats them in one of their concept photoshoots with their names and nationalities for my convenience . And yours I guess

they don’t quite have a name as a group but they debuted in (in universe) mid2024 (5th gen) and in the actual oc story it’s 2025 so they’re like a little less than a year into debut . anyways yeah they have a very strong schoolgirl concept with a ghost storyline that I’ll get into later probably when I get that all figured out . anyways members time . also sorry they’re all like really young and there’s a lot going on they’re my group I threw in the blender of suffering

Kim Haeyeon- Korean, leader, oldest . Sheeeees …. 20? 19 at debut I think . pretty level headed allrounder, definitely more strong in vocals though . very tired . pretty strong idol she has drive she has passion but even though she is the most capable of the group there is still probably a point where dealing with your members beefing and your company and taking care of a bunch of teenagers gets too much . but she’s like fine . very tired and probably overworked but she wouldn’t quit being an idol voluntarily .

Kang Seoyoung- Korean (half Thai also but she grew up in Korea and her other half isn’t very well known in universe) the group doesn’t have official positions(outside leader and maknae(youngest) )but everyone can tell shes the main vocalist (gets all the high notes) she’s 18 at debut and was a definite fan favourite during their survival show they were formed through and into debut . tallest member also . she’s a really good vocalist and very pretty and the kind of person fans love . has also been a trainee since she was 13 and extremely hardworking but has a tendency to get a little bit stubborn/full of herself esp at her members/other show contestants but what do you want her to do high stress environment and all that . but most of that didn’t get in the shows final edit because we can’t put her in a bad light . she’s the favourite to win . she was much more well liked by the fans than the producers and she may have stayed a more mid level talent if it weren’t for fan voting I think

Amelia Park- Australian (ethnically korean, both her parents immigrated there before she was born) her stage name is Ami and that’s what I’ll probably be referring to her as . Anyways she’s also 18 and again it’s a there’s no official positions but we all know she’s the best dancer here . anyways she has no proper idol training before their survival show and was convinced to audition by her friends and dance coach and got in and ended up winning . Anyways unlike seoyoung she was very well liked by the producers and whatever and they immediately loved her talent however she beefed with seoyoung and the show editors gave her a villain edit treatment and ended up getting more hate from fans and debuted because of talent and being liked by producers . this ! also went to her head a little . this started the Ami/seoyoung beef btw . they’re really girl so confusing (Charli xcx+lorde) coded though . their beef truly wasn’t that horrible but the editing made it seem worse and the subsequent fan reaction made it worse in real life . anyways on account of being Australian Ami ended up being more outspoken to the point of publicly badmouthing her company+toxic fans on livestream and getting her livestream privileges taken away for a bit . Her company’s #number1 hater . but its ok she cares for her members a lot (especially the younger ones) (she spends a lot of time helping them with english or dance or like math and stuff) she was just painted in a bad light by editing-> made fans hate her -> started getting agitated by fans really easily-> agitated by everything more easily -> more “mean” allegations and such

Kamata Himari -Japanese and like uhh . 17 . I think . very expressive and a good dancer . very good at doing what fans want/fanservice . definitely also the one that lets the public mold her the most . something something “Ari think you’ve totally changed” sympathy is a knife . anyways . lowkey have the least on her right now but I feel bad having her paragraph being so short so you can like read ahead now this isn’t important . anyways I saw a video about enhypen (real group) joking about how the 7 member group had all paired off and there was one by himself and it was Niki and i found it funny that this groups blonde Japanese member was also the unpaired one . anyways . I’m sorry Himari I have to think about you more

Anh Duong- Vietnamese . doesn’t have formal idol training before the show . uhh 16 at debut I think . has some kind of bonded stray kitten besties thing going on with Maia . Lowkey don’t know much about her either skdbdkbfjdjs blonde member curse makes them neglected children

Maia Wells- Half Korean Half Canadian (grew up in canada(Edmonton Alberta) (graah prairie provinces) (her dad is white) (if I was truly committed and it wasn’t 1:30am I would pull some random European country out to refer to her dad being from (like Ella gross meovv being half German) but I’m lowkey lazy ) anyways . the other half of the bonded kittens . she gets kind of anxious on camera especially when she has a script but if it’s a “mess around with your members” or a performance then she’s chill . goes on live a lot and people like her yapper qualities (mostly just that she knows English fluently but shhh) I also think she’s one of the more oblivious to how lowkey messed up their situation is and has convinced herself it’s ok because it’s just idol stuff which . yeah but . anyways her middle/korean name is minhee i think Haeyeon calls her that a lot . my cutie i love her . she might be my bias actually . She’s 16 btw

Lee Eunmi- Korean, Maknae (youngest) she almost quit the show/being an idol but was convinced to stay by her friend who was on the show but didn’t debut . and Eunmi ended up debuting . anyways I think she has bad anxiety that isn’t being managed well by anyone around her and a lot of things with her end up being thrown to Haeyeon instead because she’s like one of the only people Eunmi feels like really safe with here . she loves all her members but everyone else has too much of their own stuff going on . anyways she’s like . 15 . and she really loves being an idol like . in a vacuum she loves the kind of dance she loves singing she loves her members she loves interacting with (good) fans but it’s not a vacuum and that’s what makes her want to leave . but she hasn’t . she’s also like . extremely media trained . mostly out of fear of saying or doing something wrong . she is so scared to be playful on camera so she spends so much time staring either deep into a cameras soul or at another member during interviews and stuff

Haeyeon: crazy by le sserafim - it is truly vibes over here but I do think she’d love the song and performing it looks so fun Haeyeon would like it . alternatively some seventeen song but I don’t know seventeen so just like . one of them . they have that vibe

Ami: fashion by cortis - their dances look fun . Ami would love them . I think she’d eat up go by them too

seoyoung: adore u by nmixx - maybe im biased because i love adore u but i think it would suit her voice really well . adore u is a little bit brighter but its still very like . nostalgic and melancholic while still quite happy which i think would fit the tone i imagine in seoyoungs voice ? if that makes sense?

Himari: kitsch by ive - okay maybe im biased again because i do love this song but i think she’d have fun covering it

Anh: russian roulette by red velvet - red velvet is my closest equivekant for the style of the in universe group anh is a huge fan of and I think russian roulette is fun . alternatively pink venom blackpink

Maia: rude by hearts2hearts: Maia is so rude coded it’s not even funny she would be having the time of her life . alternatively 404 new era by kiiikiii but i kind of associate the two in my mind because they’re both fun 5th gen girlgroup songs that were popular at the same time . Maia would love both

Eunmi: debut by katseye (specifically with the dance break) - okay I know they’re not kpop and this might be bias again because the dance break is so yoonchae and eunmi is also the maknae but like . I do think eunmi has that kind of like . power? To her dance that suits the dance break especially but also the whole song

Haeyeon - her plot relevant older brother haejin (also an idol) (they have a pretty big age gap, maybe even like 9ish years (haejin had debuted in the peak of 3rd gen so they never really spent too much time with eachother)

Seoyoung - only child <3

Ami - definitely has younger siblings , maybe a sister and brother ? Perchance even twins (like my siblings)
