hey! so i finally bit the bullet and posted a fic i've been writing for a while... its heavily inspired by 80's movie For Keeps? and is way AU... but i love you stories and would love to your your opinion...

First of all, congratulations on posting your fic. I hope that you are having fun writing it and that sharing it will be fun as well. I know how nervewracking posting can be - I’m still lowkey scared that I’m going to disappoint with god rest my soul 🙈
I took a look at your fic and I think that your writing is super! I definitely can’t tell that it’s your first fic! 🫶🏼 I’m not a fan of the teen pregnancy trope myself (might be my age showing 👵🏼), but I can see that you already have readers enjoying your fic, so that’s amazing 🥰 I hope you have the absolute best time finishing and sharing your story!

Ahhhh me too!! It's been such a sweet surprise for me as well. I hadn't expected it at all but it's so great - and just goes to show that we all have excellent taste 😂
Reading your anon about meeting a Louis fan in the wild reminded me about my brother… I brought him with me to 1 of his concerts in NY… he knows who he is but doesn’t really follow his career… he was enjoying himself the whole time, after DLIBYH he turned to me and said ‘you’ve been hiding him from me’ …and once we were out walking to parking lot I asked him what he thought and he said he loved it… it was such a good concert and he liked his songs! Even had me put on his album on the drive back… so yeah… we’re out there converting 1 person at a time into a fan… His music speaks for itself and his concerts are so good, I’m always so happy to read/hear others say the same because it’s not jus us fans that see his talent!!!!
Omg hell yeah! You’re so right, his music, his talent, his heart and ethic and ALL of that comes together and makes it so if people witness it they cannot help but appreciate and love him! I love hearing these kinds of stories! And I also love that your brother thought you were hiding Louis from him 😂😂😂 bless. He’s seen the light now, that’s all that matters, really. Haha!

I don't know what the best way to handle ticket sale is but the whole verification thing is so frustrating to me... I still see a lot of tickets on second markets (i.e. St*bh*b) I wish there was a way to do away with scalping though..
For Harry’s shows though, less than 10% of tickets were on scalper sites (I think the actual number was even less than 5%) so the fan verification process absolutely does work to keep those numbers down. A lot of the tickets you see on those sites don’t even exist.
What’s frustrating is going through the whole process then getting to the day of and not everyone who applied got a code. Like the randomized selection feels really unfair. I know it can be chaos to give everyone who applied a code but at least then it feels like you’ve got a shot at getting a ticket or two.
I was recently with family and talking EU soccer and CR came up and one of my uncles who's a die hard fan of Real causally mentioned that CR was gay and had a bf, I asked him why he said this (mind you he's Latino - doesn't speak English or watches much TV) he said it was a short guy he's always with and they basically made out on tv & is v close with him - I told him he's part of his team; to which he and another uncle replied that guys [CR] gay and that man is his lover.. I found this curious

Hmmm, the reality show idea is interesting... Could be a sort of 'making of a band' thing which hasn't officially launched the girls yet as the show hasn't premiered... Very interesting thought... I wonder if L would come out in it if this is the case... We've gleaned bits & pieces of what's going on with this band that could fit this scenario...
That’s what I’m thinking. That could also mean that his role his much more limited than we’re thinking. If it’s going to show the process of building the band, rather than the band itself, his role changes, and I think his obligations change as well
I hate all of this BS that surrounds these boys... It's insane all the energy SC is investing to destroy them, I shouldn't be surprised... Can't wait for karma to knock him on his ass... Thankfully these boys are charismatic, talented and resilient and will be able to come out the other side and continue to bigger and better things... I just hope it's sooner rather than later for their sales and mine... This BS makes me angrier and angrier at their soon to be OT
Vindication is coming. It’s going to come in the tune of the boys being FREE AND SUCCESSFUL without the asses that are 1DHQ profiting off of these boys. And one day, I do hope to hear the truth, but that will be a long time coming for them to be able to speak about what they’ve endured.
