Ooh I think I might have told you about this idea before (also I did not check for grammar errors)

Her feets are swollen after hours of hospital work . It‘s a nonparticular day. The sun of Konoha nestles behind the fluff of clouds and a pleasant breeze of wind greets Sakura‘s cheeks as she leaves the hospital, battered, grimy and in need of a long bath. But she feels more in the way that seeps through her skin and stain her bones. A permanent tiredness.

“You know I’m a bunshin, so I can ensure your privacy.“ He winks that obnoxious eye squeeze that she‘d often confuse for a smile back when he‘d covered his sharingan eye. With two eyes visible, she can see a little bit more into hi

It’s the guilt of the guilt. He’d apologized for being one, then had said he would take upon her burden. She’d felt guilty for his misplaced guiltiness. Although, guilt might not be the apt term. It’s something more or less or different than that. Or maybe it‘s exactly that.

They don’t have bad blood, but it‘s certainly not crystal clear either.

It‘s thick, knotted, and complicated. She hadn’t cared then. She doesn‘t want complicated now.

“Maybe if I punch you to pop, you’d leave me alone.”

And the fabric covered lips twists into a smile.

But you will send your poor old sensei his only remedy–
