How did Akira become Devilman? Where does his powers come from? Why does he look like that? When did he became Devilman.

To answer all these questions. It all has to do with Ryo, Akira's best friend. And Amon. The demon general trapped inside of Akira because of Ryo. It all started at the party. Akira lost control, as Ryo activated his powers and trapped Amon inside of Akira. Or better yet, awoken Amon inside of Akira. It is confusing for first timers. But read and watch the Devilman series. You'll understand why.

MAY PHYSICAL REWARD - Infernal Series Bookmarks #2, Amon

This month's bookmark features a demon from the Ars Goetia book of the Lesser Key of Solomon, Amon. Amon actually first appeared in Johann Weyer's Praestigiis Daemonum, which was published about 60 years before the Lesser Key (1577 and 1641) but most demons didn't have fun descriptions to work with until the Lesser Key came out, which is the source I mainly used for this design. I borrowed aesthetics from medieval manuscript drawings of devils too (hence the mouth-crotch lol).

This is the second in a series of 5 bookmarks I'm gonna be doing over the next few months, each of which will feature a different demon and with all 5 bookmarks put together will create a single connecting image. There will be a few extras in my shop after all 5 have done their run (sometime in September) but they'll be extremely limited. Patrons will get first dibs on the extras too.
