SHILOH: -he shows up at the entrance of the arboretum, wearing the specified red button up he marked he would be wearing. he's a little nervous because how the hell do these things go anyway? he'll do it because he does want to get to know more people and khaliq asked him to. now where's the person he's looking for....-
JACE: -honestly, jace is so relieved his date is at the arboretum of all places. it's ideal. it means lots of walking and fresh air and pretty environments, which will hopefully take the edge off of this whole blind date thing when he's ALREADY pretty worked up today. he saw kougah earlier and it was... something. he's trying not to worry so much about it now, but naturally it's going to nag at the back of his mind at least a little bit.-
JACE: -shiloh should be looking for the guy with "crazy hair and harry potter glasses" because that's how JACE described himself. he isn't looking too interesting otherwise... he never knows how to dress for most situations, which is surely a surprise to anyone.-
JACE: -he spots shiloh first but... isn't sure if that's really him? he's got the red shirt... but what if someone else came in with a red shirt??? he just kind of stands in shiloh's line of sight antsily, hoping he recognizes him and makes the first move.-
SHILOH: -he had to ask khaliq what harry potter glasses were, and after a few examples he thinks he knows what his blind date was talking about in the description. crazy hair....what IS crazy hair exactly? he's not sure. he sees someone with glasses that look like what he saw before, and a unique hairstyle.... WAIT.-
SHILOH: -he carefully approaches jace- are you by khanke here for a blind date?
JACE: -oh thank god...- Yeah! :O
JACE: I thought you were who I was looking for but... I wasnt sure...
JACE: Anyway uh-- Hi there!
SHILOH: hi! -extends his hand- i'm shiloh! i'm not sure we've met before?
JACE: Im Jace! -takes his hand and shakes, smiling a little. shiloh seems nice...-
JACE: Ive heard of you... But I guess weve never crossed paths before, huh?
SHILOH: i guess not!
SHILOH: -smiles- i like your henry potter glasses.
JACE: Heheh... -too flustered to bother correcting him- Thank you.
JACE: I like your... red shirt.
SHILOH: oh this? yeah i liked it too! i like these...square things you know?
JACE: -that's so cute... there's something comforting about conversation about nothing. he's got a good feeling about this.-
JACE: Its a cool pattern. :)
JACE: Not to rush but... should we head inside now? Im kind of excited. I love arboretums.
SHILOH: oh yeah! me too! i aktually brought a kamera...to take piktures! -shows him the camera- i'm exkited too! let's go!
JACE: :O !
JACE: Youre a photographer? -asks while he starts to shuffle his way inside.-
SHILOH: yeah aktually! it's kind of a passion of mine. -he laughs a little nervously while walking with jace- it'll probably be most of what you hear about from me...i promise i'm not trying to!
JACE: Thats alright... I kind of have a one track mind sometimes too.
JACE: Plus, I dont know much about photography so I bet itd be interesting.
JACE: I do like to draw from life, though... Its not exactly the same but yeah.
JACE: -smiles ahead, first looking bashfully at his feet, but then remembers where they are an observes all the pretty plants and trees.-
SHILOH: -genuinely interested- maybe we kan exkhange work sometime! -looks at all the flowers and plants- i've never been here before...it's really beautiful!
JACE: Isnt it? Its relaxing too...
JACE: I go on a lot of hikes and stuff. So I feel pretty comfortable in places like this. -though he can usually do without the other people around... but all the plants and trees are identified here so he likes reading about them.-
SHILOH: -he's already taking pictures of ones he thinks khaliq would like to see- it's krazy how many kolors there are. it blows my mind sometimes!
JACE: -geez, if jace knew shiloh kept thinking about another boy on their date, he'd be AWFULLY upset... except he's kind of the same. oops.-
JACE: Nature is amazing... -:eyes: and kind of hovers around shiloh while he takes a couple photographs. he likes the process.-
SHILOH: -two of a kind. he pauses- have you ever taken piktures with a kamera like this before?
JACE: !
JACE: No, not like that! I dont usually mess with cameras unless theyre for video recordings...
SHILOH: -looks excited- want me to show you how?
JACE: :O
JACE: Sure! Why not?
SHILOH: okay so... -takes the camera off his neck and shows jace the screen.- fun fakt...you kan rekord video with this too!
SHILOH: -hits the button for video mode- and you adjust the iso here...and the exposure here...and the f-stop here...
JACE: -:eyes: at him again when he's closer, showing him the ropes. sorry shiloh, he is very gay. but then again... they are on a date, so it's probably not a big deal??-
JACE: Oh, I see. -remembers to listen belatedly, but it will probably register later while fiddling with it. he's good at figuring this stuff out.-
SHILOH: it's basikally the same thing as DSLR film but with piktures instead. -hands it over to him- here, try.
JACE: -takes the camera himself and leans into a nearby plant to SNAP A PIC.- Oooh.
JACE: -shows it to shiloh.- What do you think?
SHILOH: -gives him a thumbs up- it's pretty! but maybe... take a lot more than that. you'd be surprised what you kan get out of taking so many pictures of the same thing.
JACE: Ohhh. Okay! :O
JACE: -does this and tries out a bunch of different angles, too. he's making note of this for his trip later...-
SHILOH: -watches him excitedly- yeah! just like that! you got it!
