Last stops from our trip to Lompoc included wine tastings at Ampelos Cellars and Zotovich Vineyards. At Ampelos we enjoyed the lively tasting notes (see photo and magnify) and the lively wines that included their 2019 Viognier, 2015 Barrel Select Pinot Noir, 2015 Grenache, 2016 Syrache blend of Syrah and Grenache and 2016 Syrah - among others! At Zotovich we especially liked their 2017 Estate Chardonnay, 2017 Reserve Chardonnay and the 2019 “Zoto” Pinot Noir, among many others too. Check with both for their outdoor patio tasting hours.
