"Leap Yeep" - a poem written 2/29/2024
How lonely the heart is that hunts in the corner
How lovely the hart is that corners the hunter
How lovely the latter how lonely the former
The former of hearts is the loveliest wonder
I’ve waited for hours and hours,
It still seems like no one is coming
And all of my hair is to fall out.
It strips me, this wait, of my powers—
And I’ll have to fix my own plumbing,
For no one responds when I call out.
