The elections in the Philippines is like a joke.

The current partial votes in the Philippine elections, just shows how Filipinos are still that stupid to vote an action star as one of the senators instead of a lawyer who had been working for years in his profession.

Most people are looking for someone's authenticity, they want to be able to relate to them.. but this kind of authenticity is not what the government and especially our country needed. The truthfulness that the candidates must have is that loyalty to the people, to their achievements and actions on every issue of the country, and they know that there is more to be done. How funny and disappointing that such a person is still top 1 on the senatorial slate. There's really no change, because people don’t want to change. How fucking confusing and disappointing. The fucking herd mentality is so alarming, just because someone said this-that to them, they believed it immediately.

How hard is it to fact check? How hard is it for you to believe in all those legit and official sources? And you're happy that you voted on those underqualified and liars who are also convicts.

I really cried in frustration. Filipinos never learn, will never learn. I don't know what kind of awakening or enlightening you need. But okay, you want marcos and duterte era again? Fine. When inflation hits all time high again, don’t cry at the increase of prices. When our debts triple, don't complain if your great -grandson also pays the debt. If you are one of those who voted for Robin Padilla 'the action star' and those in the senate slate who have been convicted of criminal cases, DO NOT ever question why they are the only ones who are rich and we are still mired in poverty. Always remember in your mind, that you're one of the reasons why we are still here in the recurring trashy system-no ascension, being left behind. The pride you feel now because your chicken won, it will only be for a moment, but the suffering? we will cry for a few years, and regret it. To be honest, it is tiring to fight for a country that does not want change.

I hope you voted not just because someone told you this or that, or just because you have this belief, but I hope you voted because you thought about what will be good for us and for a better future of all. Never settle for less.
