1965 #Fender #DeluxeReverb spotted a few weeks ago at @capsulemusic #Toronto. @nathan_schiller_music can tell you just how nice these #amps are! . This one is from the later half of '65 based on the "Fender Musical Instruments" badging. Apparently this was the same amp used by #Knopfler on the #SultansofSwing recording. Here's a #vintage #Fender #amp that I would love to add the collection if I had more than 5 bucks in the bank! It's a very early #Blackface #Princeton (from before there was a #PrincetonReverb model) from 1963, spotted at @capsulemusic in #Toronto. Note the white knobs, and how the numbers are painted on the faceplate (rather than on the knobs like later #blackfaceamps). This white knobs situation only happened for a short time before they changed over to the numbered knobs that have been used on Fender #amps ever since. Very. Cool.
