Ah...the good ol' days. . Combing through the archives I came across these two #amps from a September 2014 visit to @thetwelfthfret Toronto. . The first picture actually pains me to look at. It's obviously a #narrowpanel era (1955 - 1960) 5E3 #tweed #FenderDeluxe. I have no idea how original it is (this is a 6 year old picture so the details have long evaporated from my memory!), but the tweed and grill cloth look legit to me from here. It may still be player's grade on the inside, I just don't know. But players grade or not, the price tag says C$2850! Wow...that's less than half of what one in mediocre condition would go for these days around here! Man what a deal. Although at the time it probably seemed expensive lol. Why didn't I buy it??? 😆 . The second pic is an #amp that you don't see very much...a ~1964 non-reverb model #Fender #Vibrolux AA763. This would have made a nice companion for my 1965 #VibroluxReverb. This model has a 1 x 12 instead instead of my amps 2 x 10, so I probably wouldn't sound good coming out of it anyway lol, but the price at the time was an (in hindsight) affordable C$1800. Another historical bargain! Now to invent a time machine... 😆 . . #guitar #guitars #amplifiers #vintageamplifier #vintageguitars #vintageamps #fenderamp #vintagefender #tubeamp #tone #guitargear #guitarsdaily #guitarsofinstagram #geartalk #guitarsdaily #fendersofinstagram #guitarphotography #ampphotography https://www.instagram.com/p/CCHb-vhBNjq/?igshid=18n82y00359ew
