I know what you're thinking: "WHEN is he going to talk about his new #Fender #Princeton again?!?" It's now! After an hour of intense cleanup, during which at least 14 lbs of dirt, grime, and tobacco smoke residue was removed from the grill cloth, the Princeton is now clean enough that I no longer feel I have to have to Photoshop out the stains. It ain't mint, but it's a f*ck of a lot cleaner than it was! Next project: does Anyone have any tips on how to clean up and revitalize dull #Tolex? Would​ a product like Armor All be good? Is the anything else? Here's a #vintage #Fender #amp that I would love to add the collection if I had more than 5 bucks in the bank! It's a very early #Blackface #Princeton (from before there was a #PrincetonReverb model) from 1963, spotted at @capsulemusic in #Toronto. Note the white knobs, and how the numbers are painted on the faceplate (rather than on the knobs like later #blackfaceamps). This white knobs situation only happened for a short time before they changed over to the numbered knobs that have been used on Fender #amps ever since. Very. Cool.
